Those criticizing and bashing Coach Bennett and this year's team should watch this video. Coach speaks of how adversity and suffering makes champions. No championship comes easy. There are disappointments and struggles but the mark of any coach and player is how they make it through. In the scheme of things wins and losses mean the same thing. How can we grow from them? Will each make us a better person. Will they enable us to touch others as we journey through life? I hope and pray this year's team and Coach Bennett use the bashing and criticism to propel them to great heights. Keep remembering "Weeping may endure for a night but Sunday's coming ".
Never gets old its the last but one of the greatest memories i had with my dad we have watched virginia since i was a kid grew up with him talking about Ralph Samson some of the others and this was so great we cried when they won what a memory so fucking good
More ppl should be listening to this dude. I hope he stays in Cville forever... when do his kids graduate HS?? That’s prob our potential bookend ❤️ me some TB 💯💯
@@mickfunny4185 Texas Tech won the game when they had a lead in the last minute but they did not defend 3 point shots. Among many things it was not Texas Tech's turn to win the championship.
I honestly believe if Justin Anderson would have stayed for his 4th year, this would have been Uva second National Championship Banner. But I can't blame him for chasing his NBA dream.Still I believe we win another before this year recruits 4th year.Maybe 2020-2021season

He got a contract extension which included a raise, but be declined the raise so that his assistants could get paid and him and his wife donated $500K to the University. So proud to have Tony as our coach!
He was offered a disgusting amount of money with a raise... but he denied it. Then he turns around and gives $500k to build out a career program for current and former players. He isn't in this for the money, it's about making a difference for these young men and the community.
