Granted the legless climbing is a skill but your upper body recovers on the lame cycle. They are also riding hybrid bikes. Effectively commuter bikes not used in any discipline of cycle sports and on a very non technical course. To make matters worse, the commentators tried to talk up the bikes as being the best bits of road and mountain biking combined. No, those are very different sports, a combination doesn’t make for a better more technical bike. Should have made them cycle 4km to an elevation perhaps.
@@zoeblair9465 Olympic cycling isn’t lame cause it’s an insanely tough and very specific challenge. They train so hard to compete at that level. Hybrid bikes are nonsense. They are for commuting.
