I own several pairs of Caudra boots (as well as lucchese and chisos), all of which are 12Ds. My snake skin Caudra boots ran a tad big. This was easily corrected by adding an Ariat insole. However, my 12D ostrich Caudra boots fit like a glove. Great brand, great quality, great price. Hope this helps if someone is considering purchasing a pair.

If I were to design a boot, this boot is just about exactly the way I would build it! I love my Los Altos boots, so I'm sure that these would be really great! Good to know that they run a half size bigger than true size.

Those are really cool boots. I do like the combination of lower heel height and the snip toe. Nothing like full quill ostrich. Nice video!

I love my Caudra elephant boots! I had to size down a half size opposed to most all my other brands. I'm not 100% sold on the hybrid soles but I guess time will tell. Can't wait to receive my old boots got soul tee shirt later in the week. Thankyou for all you do for us in the die hard boot community!

I love my cuadra pythons but I have to agree I’m not sold on the hybrid sole. I just feel like it’s gonna fall off eventually. I would like a full hard leather sole.

I have that exact pair (different size). They are an amazing comfortable boot. I always check out Cuadra boots when I am looking to buy. I have two pair and both have not disappointed. Great video!

Same size for Cuadra as for Tecovas. I use insoles to get a good grip on the instep and still have room in the toe box. I have the same issue as you do (12b-c foot that has to fill a 12D).

I recently got a pair of python cuadra boots and ordered a half size down as recommended on cuadra website and I had to return them and get another half size down, total of 1 full number down and still a little big but not to much I believe 1 and 1/2 size down would be a perfect fit

I wear a 10D in chisos #1 (round toe) had a lot of pain breaking it in so I’ll be getting a 10.5D next time. Tecovas Dillon I fit snug in a 9.5D but I do like my toes not feeling cramped so a 10D is what I wear (round toe). Cuadra 7toe I think is what I tried I do fit in a 9EE snug but I do like the slightly more room of the 9.5EE I think they said they make all their boots in EE size.

I tried on a few pairs of Cuadras while I was in Mexico. Damn that is a well made boot. I’m definitely buying a pair when I go back. 👍🏼

If you’re going to Mexico I highly suggest going to the city of Leon in the state of Guanajuato. There’s a market with nothing but leather goods. You can pick up a pair of unbranded boots for half the price and great quality too.

I own 4 pairs of cuadra boots and is my favorite boot to wear. The square toe boots, I find I have to size down. My shoe size is 8. I size down to a size 7 in the cuadra square toe boots. With their semi-oval/j toe boots, I find size 8 to be right for me as j toe is narrow, which allows for some wiggle room. Pants have been a mission to find. It’s a 13 in shaft with a 13in diameter and I have found that a wide leg opening jean does not look right. The Levi 511 is the best Jean to wear with Cuadra boots as they have a 14in leg opening that sits just right, in my opinion. Great video!

Really, a 511? I find that too small for me not even the 502 fit like they do on my luccheses. The only ones that the shaft downs show are on my 501s.

Man, if possible, try to find some Montana, they were less expensive but, according to many users, more elegant and more comfortable. They were so nice but Cuadra ended up buying them, sooooo elegant, and their exotics were waaaay less expensive

Ima big fan of cuadra but I like the older models better. I seem to gravitate towards vintage styles. Some of them have the animals shape stitched or overlayed on the shaft which is pretty cool.. i own 3 pairs gator, lizard and python. The cognac lizard jtoe is my fave. They are quality boots for sure.. Hey I'm curious you have you ever considered red wing pecos boots? I really enjoy my model #1178. They are solid boots. Limited styles though. Your fellow you tuber jc cook did a review on those if you would like to check it out. Your videos are always fun to watch.
