I got the same pair about 5 months ago along with the matching belt, to me there ostrich boots are the most comfortable, I get the most compliments when I wear the pecan ostrich, they do stand out, I also have the Wyatt in ostrich grain, which is another nice looking pair of boots
That’s awesome, they’re truly really comfortable. They do stand out quite a bit and I think my lighting here definitely made them look a little more 🍊 than usual. Definitely one of my favorites, but then again I love all my boots 😂. The grain are a great looking pair for sure, I missed buying them on last call, great choice with those. Ostrich boots are hard to beat 🔥. Thank you for checking out the video!
I noticed this recently with Tecovas, when they say limited edition, they seem to mean it, such as the Barrett, im glad i purchased them when they had them, cant seem to find them@@HeyDennisOfficial
Thank you very much, I appreciate your support! New video coming soon. I have a lot of plans for the channel this year, hoping they go good. Thanks for watching and make sure to stay tuned!
I appreciate it! Hopefully the sneaker reference helps people out, I know sizing can be tough to figure out sometimes. My lighting made them look a little more 🍊 😂, but definitely one of the best! Thanks for watching!
All my boots in my collection are square toe but I just purchased these and waiting for them to come in. A bit nervous as I’ve never worn anything but square toe .
It might take a little getting used to, but I’m sure you’re going to love them and you’ll receive plenty of compliments. These are definitely one of my absolute favorite pair of boots for sure! Enjoy your new boots and thanks for watching!
I agree, hopefully they start selling to the UK soon. You should join the Tecovas Enthusiasts group on FB, you can find great boots there (even new) and they’ll likely ship them to you. Always be cautious when buying on there though and ask for references. Thanks for watching!
Oh wow, that’s pretty cool information, I did not know that. I like look of fuller quills on these boots! Thanks for sharing that knowledge with us, I appreciate you checking out the video!
Thank you, I appreciate it! I’m actually really considering buying a pair, I also think the cutter toe looks great on them. We’ll see, I’m not sure if they’re an online exclusive, I may swing by one of the stores and see if they have a pair to look at. Thanks for checking out the video, take care!
So I wear a 9.5 on everyday tennis shoes, so I should go to a 9 in boots? I don’t have a wide foot either so i just wanna make sure i get the right size! Thanks for the video, the boots are gorgeous!
That’s correct, I would start by purchasing a 9D and seeing how they fit. The most important part of fit is to make sure the top of your foot (instep) is right up against the vamp on the boot. A small amount of heel slippage is okay and make sure the toe box is not too tight. If your foot is too loose in the boot, they’re too big and if they’re too tight, then they’re a bit too small. Wear them in carpet to avoid scratching the leather sole when testing the fit and Tecovas has a great return and exchange policy. I hope this information helps! Thanks for watching!
@@HeyDennisOfficialYo, Dennis! I finally got my boots and 9D fit is perfect!! Glad you suggested that size because I think 9.5 would have definitely been big! I almost think Tecovas run similar size as dress shoes. Because from dress shoes i do wear size 9. But thank you for the tip on that! The boots are gorgeous and they look so damn good with jeans! Just had for a couple days now and gotten compliments already! Uff 🔥
glad to hear that you’re enjoying your awesome boots and that they fit you really well! I’m sure those ostrich boots look even better in person! Some real head turners too, glad to hear you’re already getting compliments on them! They’re straight 🔥 🔥 🔥! Thanks for coming back and letting us know your good experience with the boots!
I got the same boots a month ago I’m a 12 in sneakers too and had ordered a 11.5 but found they were to tight around my toes so I decided to size up but now I feel like they might be to big. I haven’t worn them due to snow but do you think I made the right decision?
Hi Jose, when you mention them being tight around your toes, do you feel like it was a width issue or length of boot issue? If you feel like it was a width issue did you buy a D or EE width? If the problem was the length, then sizing up was a good call. The most important part is that the boots fit you well on your instep (perfectly right up against the vamp). A little bit of boot slippage is okay. All of our feet are a little different and very possible that you’re right in between and 11.5 and 12. I hope this information helps you.
@@HeyDennisOfficial not width on length I usually wear square toe 11.5 but it’s my first round toe and it seemed a little to tight in front of my four toes but I do have some slippage on my heel and that was my concern
@@josevilla4724 how is the instep of your foot fit up against the vamp? If good, you should be okay. A slight slippage is okay and it’ll decrease as the boot bends and molds to your feet. When a boot is big, it typically feels big all around. If the gap on the back of the heel feels noticeably wide they may be too big. Let me know please.
@@josevilla4724 no problem! So you’re keeping size 12 or exchanging back to 11.5? Once you get your sizing good, I’ve found their boots are pretty consistent.
