I came across this video scoping out ways to update my wardrobe as I felt like it was getting dated and have been feeling really self conscious about my dress sense lately. Came out the other side with mad confidence after hearing all these ladies describing their preferred styles on guys was like they were basically describing my exact wardrobe =)
Wear what makes you feel comfortable, not wear whatever because you are lazy. Basic color matching is essential. In the end, when you are comfortable in your own clothes you wear, that is an expression of you. If the woman dislikes what you wear, then she doesnt like you and how you look or think. Their loss, do not change to appeal to them, change only if it feels right to you. Women also dress down to whatever is comfy-only when they dont feel like going through the whole routine and motion. Most people do not dress like how they do when they go on dates, so the real expression of who they are is their everyday comfy-only look.
There is an Italian term called "sprezzatura", and it means the art of putting together a stylish outfit that looks effortless. Most of these men should learn it.

You know Courtney, I have a bold yet fun idea: How about you get some of subscribers(myself included) to volunteer to submit photos of themselves in their favorite outfits, and make a video of the group of girls'(or any group of girls you have in mind) impressions on these outfits and give some of their own suggestions how these outfits can be improved? It could be really fun if someone could vulnerable and open-minded enough to volunteer and get some feedback, and I'd personally be up for it!
I Like wearing clown outfits like the big red shoes striped red and white oversized button up with the parachute pants that are blue and the staple red button nose! It’s very nice to see a video that actually shows what girlS like and not what ONE girl like (like 99% of “outfits girls likes”-videos). Cause in reality everybody got their own preference. And as many of the girls basically said… simplicity will take you a long way. My opinion: Big logos and brand names doesn’t really makes your outfit look better than a plain $5 white T-shirt would… over or undersize sends out signals like “i hide something” or “i feel the need to show something off”. I like cuffed trousers, cause I like the naked ankle look … not a fan of cropped trousers tho… cause for me it looks like u got them when you were 10 and kept them when you’re 30… No socks with sandals….
The thing is, you show them male models, so even if they dont really like something, they will still give it compliments. if you showed those outfits on average looking guys, you probably would get more one sided reactions, either yes or no.

True that. Ironically, most of those painful outfits (looking mainly at the logo flexing here) wouldn't be worn if those guys didn't care so much about what others think.
The ironic thing is a handful of these would be borderline salvageable if they didn’t go so extra. Ex. Last outfit worn with some clean shoes vs. Those sandals

Not all of us can relate to male models who can make a subpar outfit a better one based on their good looks and a great photographer. Keep up the awesome content!
I was watching "Women's Outfits that Men love and hate" , the comments from females were like they were being attacked , I saw comments like 'Women should wear whatever they want to wear , men's opinions about it is just sexist" . Now watching this video and seeing women's comments , it now seems like you guys think you are justified to give opinions about what men must and must not wear. Isn't that double standards?

I’m 54. Since I was a teenager I’ve always worn jeans and tee shirts or flannel shirts with leather boots or clean sneakers. Khakis and Oxford shirts with loafers, and as an adult I also wear classic fit suits with or without a tie with Oxford or monk strap shoes. I always wear a watch. These looks will never go out of style.
I wear an all Black outfit. People think I am strange but I don't care. It complements me perfectly. Be yourself and love what you wear. You are dressing for yourself...not others.
For the past 10 years I watched cat videos, skits, UFC highlights and random bs. But in 2021 I watch Courtney Ryan. I’m addicted what can I say. I feel like I do most of the positive things in your videos but I always like to hear the other side of the coin

It's honestly not even hard to dress like a normal person but so many guys somehow have no clue how tf they're supposed to dress themselves. If you don't know what you're doing, stop trying to experiment if you want to look nice. Wear shit that fits you. Wear neutral colors, and in some cases, wear other colors as long as there is consistency throughout the outfit and you don't use more than 2 or 3 in one outfit. If that's too complex for you, you're not even ready to commit to a girl and shouldn't even be on this channel

Hey! I actually really liked the “off the runway” looks on the men... because it conveys that guys like that probably share my interests in fashion and art. It’s also the kind of career I work in and a lot of my friends appreciate this style so it definitely has its place too! This is in no way a criticism of Courtney’s content or her friends’ thoughts! It simply is pointing out to some men out there that there are definitely some women who like that... and this was just too small of a sample pool and there simply weren’t women present who are attracted to really creative dressing like me. All in all, like attracts like more often than not. What guys should check out to get some more depth on this subject is Style Thoughts by Rita’s Four Essence System... they do a breakdown of this in men’s style and it might help any guy reading this on his personal style journey! 🤗
Pro tip gentlemen: wear what makes you comfortable and looks good. There's no way of fully impressing women. Some might like casual wear and others will like suits. Women are complicated creatures.

The last pic just took me right out. I’m a male and I will admit that sometimes I just DO NOT CARE I’ll just put on whatever and head straight for the door. But never in my life have I ever worn socks with sandals, I don’t ever have any sandals because I don’t like them I think they’re the worst invention ever 😂😂😂
Sandals I think are neat, if you don't intend to dress. It's fantastic if you are traveling/sightseeing in the summer in a mediterranian country, beach, summer time hiking etc. But puting on a sock with it defeats the whole etnire purpose of sandals what even 😂😂

Wear what makes you feel confident. And when women see that you are confident in what you’re wearing, they will be attracted to you. Make sure the clothes that you wear fits you well, that is probably the most important thing!

I'm an audience and I dont have any of the articles of clothing you mentioned. Metal shirts > Anime shirts. Nike > Skechers. Fitted Jeans > Chino Shorts. Get it right
First off, Courtney, I want to say your content is incredible. I just stumbled on it the other day. What you are doing is amazing, providing advice for guys that are single and looking to be in a relationship. I think what would be really cool if you got a few guys for a social experiment, transformed their outfits, confidence, mannerisms etc. and later film the same guys a few months after to see if they were successful in getting into a relationship. Thoughts?
It was fun to watch. I'm not a fashionista but I'm taking time to learn. I'm also mature in my 60's so here is my opinion. I think that there was something inherently wrong with every single outfit. Either the fit, or the blend or something. I prefer to dress so that eyes are NOT immediately drawn to any one thing at the outset. That's just me.
When I was a wee lad, I really loved jazz, and one aspect that stood out to me was the images of young men and women, "hipsters", as they were called, huddled over their cognacs in the smokey clubs, and dressed in the finest garments. They were probably up to shenanigans too eh? But, boy they did really look regal, and dignified! My view is that fine clothing actually flaters the youth better than the fashionable athletic wear that is oft mistaken for "casual". I'm not against athletic clothing altogether, but I think it depends on context, and, tbf, I earnestly believe that, in terms of aesthetics, we're really missing out.
Could you imagine still doing this video but with the genders reversed? Oh boy the backlash would be (literally) insane. Aside from showing male models and highly manufactured photos, it would be nice if you showed more regular outfits and people and used the same social standards for women when judging mens outfits.
The navy blue with the yellow socks and it does match because I dress with suits and I've worne this type of combination before it's just different how girls and guys see their style on dressing up in suits or just in general
