So splendid and so human. The hours of work gone into crafting those costumes celebrating our world and nature and every step so mindful. I wish for this kind of celebration to be re integrated into our society.... music dance rhythm drums....so powerful. Thank you.
Totally amazing, makes me so emotional to watch these dancers. Tears run down my cheeks. I have a Native American line to the Lenape. My 7th great grand father was Nemacolin. Of course it was lost throughout the decades and doesn't even show up in my DNA but I feel it in my heart!!

Your video is so outstanding that I have subscribed to your account so I can be certain to see future work. Of these course, the fact that these dancers space themselves so well definitely helps. THIS is a POW WOW I want to see in person one day. Thanks!!
Hello Cedric, can you tell me who are the singers pls?? And what are the songs ?? I luv your video so much that I wanna dance with them, to celebrate with them, and I luv to sing these songs 😊
How lucky the world is that these tribes survived every attempt to force them to stop all expression of their own culture and conform to others seceded of superiority.
I am proud ro be Dine'. I play Pow Wow music loud on Sundays to remind my overly religious Catholic neighbor never to forget 1492. Aho!👍🏾😹 Edit: Are you in WA state or just filmed here? I am Dine' but live in Seattle. Just curious.
@@cedricksweowat2326 I used to live in Portland Oregon it's too small. There are issues with racism in Washington as well but it's more prominent for me and my experience in Oregon. So I just hide out with my two cats here by Alki Beach. I love this state so many readily accessible parks to go hiking and get lost in. My two cats love it if I say Park the like a dog a cup it's almost like I said let's go let's get out of here but the only downfall is we got to wait till it's warmer it does rain a lot but that's how it keeps it green. I was thinking about going back home with the family in New Mexico since that's where my family is from but I'm not really big on cockroaches and at the time we'd was not legal so that's a game stopper for me. My aunt wants me to come back. I told her natives are nomadic people and I just went more up north like our Athabascan native cousins who kept going all the way to Alaska. I am trying to go to some Pow Wows this summer see who knows how to cook fry bread. Ehh
