I'd recommend you to use cleansing oil before cleanser too since you're using sunscreen or wearing make up, it's always better to double clean. My favorite one is Kose Softymo Deep Cleansing Oil

I'm totally going to show this to my boyfriend :) he has good skin already but he still wants to take care of it. He just doesn't know how. I tried explaining it to him but it just doesn't seem to translate. But what he already does is a nose strip and a mask once a week, but only because I do it as well :'D I really want to get my hands on asian beauty products, but it's so difficult to get those in Germany :/
Usually for me I have two sets of routines one for the morning and one for the evening. For the mornings, I cleanse, tone, apply hydrating serum, moisturise with an emulsion, then eye cream and then SPF. For the evenings I cleanse, I will apply a mask that reduces/prevents acne, or one that helps in whitening and brightening the skin as well as removing blemishes, etc., or one that exfoliates my skin, then I follow on with toner, and then an anti-ageing serum, a moisturiser (preferably a cream) and then finally apply a sleep mask that focuses on creating the suppleness of my skin. Pretty intense, but I just got out of having that horrid teen acne, and I want to keep it that way and at the same time start preventing ageing, after all skin is still considered an organ of our body and that we should look after it.

Nice to see somebody knowing what they're talking about! Everybody seems to not know about sunscreen! I do think, however, that you did use a to small amount of sunscreen, it really needs a LOT to get to the spf stated on the tube. Also products in jars do for the most part not work more than with the first or second use due to all the air and bacteria that gets into the product when you stick your finger in there. I would really recommend paula's choise, they have reserch behind ALL of their products and they do not test on animals like many other brands, wich is really nice! Check them out, they're probably one of the best skincare lines in the world! You look very very handsome and i like your beard, :D Sorry for my english aswell, not my first language, :P

***** I had a bad experience with their moisture mask and cemical sunscreen, all the other products work just wonderful for me! I think i tried a an eye-cream from lush some time ago! I liked everything exept for the smell! :P I just looked at their website and i think i'm going to try one of their facemasks! Thanks! :)
Do you ever use a Night-Cream like AHA or anything? Good stuff if you don't. Really pulls everything out and gets in the pores and cleans during the night. And you cause wash it all off in the morning.

Hi, first off I love your video :) ... It sounds like I have the exact same skin type as you, and suffer from acne. I've recently been told and am getting into the whole cleanser, toner, and occasional clay/charcoal masks(before I just used face wash and moisuriser)... But the big difference is I'm clean shaven. If I'm shaving every two days - where does that process fit into the routine? Before or after the cleanser and toner? Thanks

You should try reusable cotton pads they don't leave any lint also just make sure u get enough where ever you get them from for the time you wash them and you don't have to repurchase any new ones
Let's say I'm a poor Uni student who still wants to take care of his skin, what's the bare minimum with a tighter budget? :D Also, should we use SPF even during winter?

yat hidayat Well it depends, if you have very sencetive skin you should probably look for a mineral sunscreen, if you have normal skin a chemical sunscreen would probably be better. Look for "Skin Balancing Moisturizer SPF 30" for example! Paula\c choise have it all!

+cerodio pascoal You can use sheet masks as much as you want! Once a week, twice a week or three times a week! In places like Japan and Korea there are women (and men) who use a sheet mask every night! Depends on what the mask is!

Those were some great tips James! I would tell you to look into Retin A cream to use at night for antiaging, removal/prevention of fine lines and wrinkles, keeping your pores tight and smooth, clear skin... also check out some antiaging serums with Matrixyl 3000, Arginine and Hyaluronic Acid. Trust me these 2 are the best things you can apply on your skin.
