The basic rule of thumb for men's socks is an easy one: The color of your sock should match the color of your trousers. That means wearing black socks with black trousers, dark gray socks with charcoal trousers, blue socks with your blue jeans, and so on.

Hey Jeff, I'm a big fan of chinos, and I normally wear what I call dress sneakers like Cole Haan, or Johnston and Murphy. I usually wear some kind of "casual" socks like you would find at J. Crew. What kind of socks do you wear with your flyknit trainers and chinos? I also have a pair of flyknit trainers.

I have just about three drawers’ worth of socks, mostly statement. My favorites to rock are my numerous makes and brands of pizza socks. 🍕🧦 Easily one of my most infamous accessories!
OG. I wear argyle sock but mine normally accent off my button up that I’m wearing. I had on black dress fitted slack, black vest, pink shirt, tie with pink accents with argyle sock with pink pattern in them like yours in your video.
Is there a correlation between the socks and the tie colors? And then if the socks matches the pants but not the tie, does it matter? Or does it just have to match any of the outfit?

I have good dress socks i wear compared to many people. They are of good material, pattern and most are over the calf now. However, compared to much better socks that i've been made aware of elsewhere in constantly learning things, my socks are just average in comparison. And it's something i aim to rectify slowly, just like every other part of my wardrobe i've focused on and fixed. I like statement socks as well, i can rock those with confidence. One difficulty in Mensware unlike Female ware is that we have less stores and boutique outlets that cater to Men and their fashion needs, especially with Socks. I cannot over the decades of my life ever seen a Mens Sock Store. But you can find every store of every kind for Women. It's hard to wear something good, when you can't even easily find it.

@@TheStyleOG Are or would do something on shoes such as CARMINA, CROWNHILL, MEERAMIN, VASS, CROCKETT AND JONES, ALDEN, J. FITZPATRICK, the high end type shoes. I have a couple pair of the aforementioned and let me tell you THEY ARE WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!! also there are several companies that bench make shoes for men at reasonable price such as SKOLOX. Japanese shoemakers also make quality shoes. Enjoy your post bruh.
Have you thought about tattooing a solid sleeve from the shin to the end of the feet. This will eliminate the need to wear socks at all. Saves money and time.
Statement eggplant socks to get people to eat more veggies!!! Bahahahahahaha!! That's the doctor in you but it was a funny and ironic example. My lady got me a pair of Black Panther socks and I just don't know what to do with them other than a whimsical day of wear. As far as matching my trousers I do that using a color combo that fits the outfit without a stark departure that would unbalance the look. If I'm wearing wingtips then tone downed socks due to the shoes being busy enough IMO. A clean shoe gets lively socks as with plain pants/slacks/jeans. A patterned jacket or neckwear then I tone down the sock.
