I thought he was really unlucky in this event. All the fouls were marginal. Despite he fouls probably the best series of consistent jumping ever. 17.88 would normally be good enough to win and ironically was longer than his Gold Medal winning jump in Sydney. Incredible jump from Harrison which I believe is the longest jump in history with a negative windspeed. I think the last two jumps by Edwards which but for marginal fouls were longer than 18.09.
@@FleetAdmiral833 Nah he was close to the WR (if not literally on it) for the 5th, so well passed 18.09. That sign with the Globe there tells it. The the 6th he was about half way between 18.00 and 18.29. So arguably over 18.10, if you look at a physical ruler in your hand.
