I bought Daring last year and style it exactly like the model on the brochure and it looks totally natural, I didn't alter it at all and with my 1/8 inch short beard it matches the highlights perfect, it literally makes me look like a surfer with the brochure picture style.
Is a pomade sufficient to style it like the model? I just got mine, and am trying to achieve the look, but the hair understandably keeps on falling forward.
@@shivamxyz123 I use the mousse and hairspray that are from the wig shop that are made specifically for wigs so they don't damage the fibers and it holds it very well.
Thanks guys. I am so glad you did a focus on mens wigs. I am a hairdresser and own and wear Daring from the collection in color M12/22ss. I wish there were more options foe color and cut. I wanted a more modern style, very short sides and back and the long fringe like the trendy brush back style so I cut my Daring. I wish there is a style that is short on the sides and back but with the sides and back in one color or fine blended color, dark ash blonde and the top that same dark ash blonde but with pale blonde highlights that is rooted with that same dark ash blonde and the highlights more in the front and then faded to the back. Almost like the hairdresser only put a few foils in front and top. What I dont like about the Daring in M12/22ss is that band of highlights in front. I plucked mine and cut a small piece if the lace in front. I do like the blinde in front. It looks better than the dark knots but the front 5mm should be fine blended with the highlights and the darker color. Also wish the wig was a bit smaller in size ear to ear. It is too big at the back and ear to ear. I love the contour of the front hairline but only downside is that I have to glue it down and thats why I dont wear it often....every morning glue it and every evening clean the front to get the gel glue out. I did cut Daring but as a hairdresser I have to say that it is not a good idea. That hair cuts very difficult and the thinning shear damage the ends of the hair and makes it feel like slip ends. Also because the color M12/22ss had the highlights on the sides and back, when I cut it it now looks patchy......like when bleach leak out of the foil and make that patchy look. It is so frustrating to find a wig if you have a specific look and color in mind. I have been looking at ladies wigs but the hairline is too straight and density is thick. Perry by Estetica in color Icy shadow is very close but the dark color should be ashy and the blonde on top is too white. It needs a dark ash ont top as base but with highlights. Wish I could work with you guys and create a new style.
I just bought the Daring in the darkest shade - M1S - I like it, but I don't think the colour is black enough. I have black hair and it doesn't quite match my eyebrows or beard. Also I thought that the texture is very smooth and silky and straight. Maybe you could do a few with curls or waves and a bit more coarser?
I feel that wigs are much better than hair systems for guys who're treating their hair loss every night with say topical finasteride but would still like to sport a great head of hair in public.
Hi! The longevity of any wig depends on how frequently you wear and how well you care for it. Please contact this UK retailer who ships internationally to Dubai: afrostyling.com/collections/vendors?q=HIM%20-%20MEN%27S%20WIG%20COLLECTION
I could never get away with trying these in my own town. Im a musician, so everywhere I go, someone knows me and knows I'm bald. But for going out of state, I would probably feel more brave to try it....I just wish l could actually be fitted in person so I can see what it looks like on me. My head is huge. An xtra large (7-5/8) cowboy hat still fits really tight.
Hi there! A number of performers use HairUWear products on stage and for their live appearances. Use our online retailer locator tool to find a location near you. If you select the filter for Gabor wigs, this retailer should also carry the HIM by HairUWear Collection for men. Good luck!
@@hairuwear thanks for the info. However, when l went to your site, it was on an unsecured network. I didn't feel comfortable surfing the page. I'll check back occasionally to see if you have it fixed. Thanks again.
@@JasonWelchMusic My understanding is that a secured site is only necessary if taking payment, which we do not do. I'm happy to help you if you want to send a direct message through our Facebook or Instagram pages.
Hi Sue! Since the hairline is tapered for a man we do not recommend women wear the HIM line but you can find amazing styles by these great designers within the Gabor and Raquel Welch Collection, visit HairUWear.com to see the collections and shop in store or online
@@thehairyoulove2114 I feel that some units have more tapering or recession than needed. A lot of men would be interested in trying wigs to hide their receding hairlines, so having recession defeats the purpose of the wig.
Exactly all these synthetic wigs look fake especially with that ridiculous mullet hairstyle at the back. Just make human hair wigs so there is no synthetic shine with less density like around 90% and no mullet at the back!
@@kapow4 did you even watch, its made that way because if its too short, u cant make it longer. You trim it to where u want it because our necks arent all the same, i have a short neck, another might have a long neck
