She swung at me. Realized what she did and ran to call the cops to claim I did before I called to report her. Didn't even cross my mind. Cops show up, talk to her, talk to me, realize she was lying but still had a duty. So they started asking if she wanted to make a formal report and have me arrested but if she wasn't truthful they'd have to arrest her. Scared her enough to back down. I walked as she cried and begged. F that.

Something similar with me. Except he sent her all my information when I didn't even know this woman, because he was paranoid I was catching on to him cheating on me and then she stalked and threatened and harassed me for months. And this was months after my ex had broken up with me and I had moved on to my now relationship. Now she chronically cheats on him and he's raising two kids that aren't his. One by her ex from before they got together and the other one from the guy she cheated on him with. Karma's a bitch.

My ex wife disappeared for 3 days before we split. I was supposed to fly to Florida to visit my sister with my mom and brother. I missed the flight and called to tell her that. She seemed upset when I called, but I didn't think much of it. Came home and she was gone. I called over and over again, called the police, called her parents, even went out looking for her. Not a word. 3 days later she walked in the house and said she wanted a divorce bc I "joke around too much" and flirted with her friend when we first got together (we had been together 7 years and married for 18 months). Turns out she was cheating on me with literal meth head and her mom was helping her hide it

The last three years of the marriage my ex treated me like a roommate. Constantly complained about money, I was averaging 35k to her 60k, went out at all hours and threatened divorce twice a year. On two of those occasions she directly told me it was my income. After the last divorce threat over money she lied to me about insurance and perpetrated that lie to her family and in marital counseling to make me look bad. I got a lawyer and planned my exit. A few weeks later when she asked for a divorce I told her I’d talk to my lawyer and get it started. She asked me to stay for awhile but I declined and continued my plan to move out. Less than a year later I own a bigger house, make more than her,and am enjoying my life more. She on the other hand is not doing as well financially.

A TV with a VCR built in. Seriously. My ex was a hoarder. We had this crappy TV sitting in the middle of the livingroom for a year. I finally sugested donating it to a local e-waste collection. She lost it, accused me of trying to control her and it ended in an hours long screaming match. That was it. After 17 years of a declining relationship I was done. There were a lot of problems, but that was the straw that broke the camel's back. New career, new wife, new town, no regrets.

Together for 5 years, got a house together. Later found out she had no intentions of me having my name on the deed for the house when I was 80% of the reason we could afford one in the first place. Gaslit me over wanting my name on the house, and literally broke down crying because she felt like I would snatch the house away from her and the kids the moment my name was attached to it because I could "be like every other evil man". Cheaters are something I will never understand. If you are unhappy or simply want to have multiple partners at once, find partners who are into that. How can people invest years, even decades of their lives into a relationship with a person, build a whole life with them and go off to cheat? Such a stupid concept.
@SnarkyMcCarthy
@SnarkyMcCarthy 7 месяцев назад
Polyamory/open relationships/related are still stigmatized (and even illegal) across the globe, hypocrisy of those critics be damned. They probably desire one, but might feel socially pressured into participating in this relationship approach. Even so, cheating is still not justified and some people just need to shut up and only mind their own business.
@anlydaly5726
@anlydaly5726 7 месяцев назад
I also feel like some times people cheat because they're in love with someone else but they're too scared to try and leave their partner. There have been a lot of people who were killed/their kids were killed for leaving. You don't know what kind of monster you're in a relationship with until it's too late
@tarrantwolf
@tarrantwolf 7 месяцев назад
Some people find a thrill in it. Some people want the security of the one they're with but the fun of another knowing the one they're with won't accept it. Some want a "back up" just in case things go wrong with the one they're with. There are lots of reasons, none of them justified.
@MaleStomper
@MaleStomper 7 месяцев назад
@@SnarkyMcCarthyThe major stigma comes from many wanting to go that direction after the cheating has already or is on the cusp of occurring, it's more used as an alternative for asking permission to cheat. It can work, but most times it needs to be the starting foundation of a relationship or can be very rocky and filled with, what I believe at least, justified insecurity. I've known one couple that were very happy with this arrangement as the guy had been up front with it and actually helped and supported her in getting with others during it. They made last for four years and considered getting married and having a poly marriage. She got shot and died in a gas station robbery for simply being a witness, over a case of beer. My boss's son unalived himself on the day before Valentine's Day after being married to an abusive woman for like 20 years. He was a proud man and he had a ton of friends but he was not verbally able to communicate what was going on in his marriage without feeling weak. Since his passing so much more has come out about how she like kept him pretty much in the house on lockdown. He was a race car driver and built race cars and she took his keys and he wasn't allowed to go anywhere, she had cameras all in his shop and the property. There were people that said she saw her hit him with a shovel at the racetrack one time. He wasn't allowed to see his mother or his brother because they both thought he should leave the marriage. She didn't want nobody to be able to be in his ear. And it's super sad. And he even told her the night before while he was making the rope what he was doing; she didn't call anybody, she didn't get him any help, she did nothing. What she did do was showed up at their house in the middle of the day to find him there which is something she never did. She never came home during the day. I personally think that she should be charged, but she runs a bank and knows a lot of people in this town and it's probably unlikely. I know it's hard gentlemen but please if you are feeling that way find somebody, anybody to talk to or get help. Please. We need u and ur life is worthwhile.

Being a SAHW myself I love doing work on the house, but some days I'm absolutely drained. For a while I was the only one cleaning up after everyone (husband, myself, roommate, guests) and I did tell my husband I felt like his personal maid/Chef. He started helping with the small things (dishes, trash) and he's trying to learn how to cook so I'm not the only one cooking for the house. I know he works his a** off to provide for us, but he at least gets days off. I'm constantly cleaning, cooking, and making new projects around the house. The least he can do is clear the sink and ensure the trash isn't overflowing. As long as he keeps up with the small things I'll make sure that the rest of the house is spotless.
@GLoLChibs
@GLoLChibs 7 месяцев назад
@notebookdrawings5564 You don't think your husband gets drained working his ass off to provide, handling all your finances AND having to do part of the house work? He's not getting days off when he's doing your job too. Who's helping him with his responsibilities in the relationship? Unless you're tagging in to go to work for him, no one. As a house spouse with physical disabilities that also cares for hid father...do better. Get better at time management. Unless you're in a mansion it's not at all hard to keep the house tidy when you keep on top of it. Cleaning, laundry, and cooking do not take up the entire day. Your roommate ought to be taking care of themselves. With epilepsy and a bum knee, taking care of his father, cooking and cleaning on a farm no less...I still wind up with plenty of free time. Do I have days I'm worn out? Yes. That's what take out or frozen meals are for. Either get a job outside the home or accept that majority of cooking and cleaning is on the spouse that stays home.

@notebookdrawings5564 7 месяцев назад
@@liamevans7661 fun fact I am disabled and I have to take care of not only my husband and I, but our roommate who can't clean up after himself and anyone who comes over. I wouldn't mind it as much if I didn't have to clean after a 25 year old man who leaves dishes until they get moldy and expect me to clean them. It wouldn't be as bad if I didn't gag every time going to the kitchen because the roommate left his door open and has a literal pile of trash in the corner by his bed. It would be better if while I was doing yard work or laundry or sweeping or cleaning after our animals, I didn't have to hear them playing video games in the next room. It would actually be a lot different if they weren't just playing games while i do stuff around the house. It would be different if they stuck to what we agreed to when we moved in 🤷🏻 but the world ain't like that all the time I wish the roommate could take care of himself, but in all reality if i avoided everything he took out of his room and just put in the kitchen, our house would look like a hoarders house. I'd much rather take care of that then let kids come near moldy garbage bags, boxes, dishes, food, ect. So with being on my feet constantly everyday gets painful, but a lot of the time I push past the pain where at the end of the day I'm in tears half the time because it feels like my foot is being ripped off. You also need to think about people's mental state. I just had miscarriage a couple weeks ago and my body and mind are still healing from it. I've felt like trash physically and mentally. I didn't have any energy for anything for the first week, and even now I'll do something, but there's a chance I need to go and just let out my emotions before doing anything again. My "free time" simply doesn't exist. Like I said I love doing work around the house so chances are you'll find me trying to work on a dog run, filling little holes in the walls, cleaning our terrariums, reorganizing the house. I don't care what anyone's doing at that point. Also I said "all I want is for him to do dishes and take out trash", I should've said just dinner dishes since you're all acting like I want him to do EVERYTHING. I literally just ask him to clean the plates and utensils and to take the trash out WHEN ITS FULL. Those are the only thing I expect him to do since IT WAS A DEAL WHEN WE MOVED IN (FOR EVERYONE), but it quickly turned into just me.

It wasn't a marriage but I still feel like I should share. I met this girl who lived right across the street from me when I moved into a new house a few years back, if I had to guess this was 6-7 years ago now, and we would see each other walking into our houses from time to time. Eventually we introduced ourselves and had a nice little conversation. She seemed pretty nice and she did only live right next door but I didn’t think about anything romantic since we had only spoken once. Well, a few weeks pass by and we went from the odd hello here and there to asking how or days were and we had become friends. Eventually, she walked up to me one day and told me she had feelings for me and I was honestly surprised. I’m not gonna say I didn’t like her at all but I just didn’t think about it much and I thought it was worth a shot because she did live right next to me basically and she was always nice to me so let’s see where it goes. The first month of our relationship was great: hanging out wasn’t much of a hassle, she was sweet, and we had a ball. Until, I found out about her “lifestyle” meaning that she was in a rough spot in her personal life. She drank a lot, she smoked cigarettes (honestly have no clue how I never noticed) and her “friends” were iffy people to say the least. At first I tried to just look past it as different people live different lives and I was also too good hearted to just leave then and there (plus she lives right next door so it would be awkward). Eventually, I noticed things only had been getting more concerning over the next two months or so. She was telling about how she and some friends went out drinking and got in a little trouble with a cop but I told her my concerns and she promised she’d be more careful. She told me stories of all of her past relationships (about *15* to be exact) and how some of the guys she was with were complete assholes who essentially used her for sex (note he had not had sex at all because I wasn’t comfortable with that), borderline abused her, and even tried to sleep with her when she was *16*. So there was *a lot* of baggage to be sure, however, I just didn’t leave because I was just too damn caring and sympathetic to leave for my own comfort. I lied to myself saying that I was “happy” and at times I was but ultimately I was clinging to memories of happiness not real love. Fast forward a year and we were still together, our relationship had been on and off as she cheated on me once, broke up with me another time, and I broke up with her once but let myself be dragged back in. My parents expressed how much they disliked her since they had only met *twice* during the course of our relationship and because of her “lifestyle”. I just kept thinking I could help her and that I could turn her on the right path until one day I knew our relationship was over. She went out with her group and got so drunk that they all were arrested and held on the police station for a night on an account of public indecency and harassment of a police officer. I was worried sick and I couldn’t help but feel betrayed at the same time. When she did come home I tried talking to her and she completely disregarded me and said that I couldn’t “control her life” before forcing me out of her house. Eventually I turned to my friends and they gave me an ultimatum, it’s either I stand up for myself and leave for good or they don’t want to be around me anymore if I’m going to associate myself with people like her. That’s when I woke up and told her that we’re done and of course she took it lightly because we’ve done this before but for me this was over over. I went to my parents and stayed there for a day to relax. I remember waking up looking at my phone seeing no texts from her and seeing just how little this all affected her. Eventually, she finally texts me after two days of air static and she’s asking “Hey where are you? You haven’t texted in two days?”. That’s when I told her I went somewhere to relax and just create space between us for a while because it was too awkward being right next door. She then proceeded to get angry at me for “Leaving me just like that after everything we’ve been through!?” and cold shouldered me. I was anxious to go back to my house because she could just waltz up to my door and come knocking at any moment but my parents said that I could stay with them as long as I felt like I needed. So I stayed there for another day and of course I get *another* text from her “apologizing” for her quick temper. She practically begged me to met with her so we could “better understand each other”. I of course said no and she started sobbing about how she “never met a guy like me” and that “she didn’t know what to do without me” and so on. I just said that I stuck with her for over a year and I caved to her *multiple* times and gave her so many chances to change and I had reached the end of my rope. She apologized over and over again and attempted to make promise after promise and I just ignored her. Eventually I decided it would be best if I just found a new place to stay and my parents help me find a nice little apartment in a really quite and beautiful area from a friend they knew and I packed my bags. When I got to my house with the moving truck she of course saw and yelled out from her window and of course she sounded drunk and said “Go fuck yourself traitor!”. Thankfully my brother was there with me and he kept me from saying anything back. She slurred a couple of sentences I couldn’t even understand as we loaded the truck and when she saw it wasn’t working she just slammed her window and sulked I assume and I have never seen or spoke to her since. In fact, just last year I found out she ended up getting arrested for robbing a gas station, just food, while she was drunk with some “friends” and proceeding to evade the police. I just sat back looked out my back porch with my wonderful girlfriend who I’ve been with for two years now and smiled knowing that I’d never ever see her for the rest of my life. I do pity her though but she did teach me a valuable lesson, while it pays to be kind don’t let people exploit you because of it.

It was summer. I was working in a resort place, and my wife and my 3 kids were at the same place enjoying sunny summer along the atlantic coastline. Then my wife drank 2 glasses of french white wine, and told everybody she had free vacation. Of course I was fired and we had to go back home... I lost trust in her that day, to eventually divorce some times later

true some peole are not built for marriage and family, and it is horrible that they only figure this out after they start a family and literally bring more humans into this world that will now get traumatised by their idotic behaviours. The very fact that he had been living on his own whils tthe wife had to deal with the kids and the household and he was able to chill and have fun on his own. did he ever think to ask the wife why she vetos the beaches or why she doesnt want to go there with all the kids? going on vacation with kids is often a nightmare for the parent who is the main care taker, and if he reallly wanted to enjoy the beach with her he could have organised a baby sitter, care takers for they kids so they can go on vacation together and she also gets to relax.HIs case i find is the side effect of men not being socialised to full understand and be skilled in child care and house management (besides work outside the house) which women also still do ontop of child care and house managment. And this isnt an inherent thing becaue there are men who are raised to be skilled and good parents and parterners to their wives and can manage children and a household on top of work side by side with their partner. People need to stop romanticising and pushing for kids and marraige, when people are not at the same time being taught that for one it is not for everyone and that they need the right skills and resources and mental state to maintain a happy and healthy marriage and or family. The level of carelessness and stupidity and unpreparedness people approach marraiges and family building should be criminal.@@Cheesemeister27

Frankly, leaving a marriage over “dissatisfaction” when kids are involved is rather selfish. Divorce screws kids up and should only be done for very good reasons. I don’t see how being bored is a good reason.

Story 1- I would have prepped for divorce. If my wife showed signs like her, i would tell her, "I am getting off this sinking ship. You obviously don't love me and respect me." It's not a mistake. She cheated the second she started flirting with the other man. She was caught multiple times. I wouldn't wait for her to play the game of hide the sausage to end it. Her betraying me would be enough. My wife and i don't mess around with this stuff.

Not… married but I dont do well with assault and I dont do well with constant yelling. I was trying to leave and she wouldnt let me by yanking me back, I lost my mind for a split second I was griping her hand, crushing it in anger and she was in absolute shock that I would even lay a hand on her (never EVER did even after being hit). Got scared and ran out the door. Honestly that feeling that instance was something I have never let go of and never forget and I genuinely do not know why.

In all my years on the net i haven't heard that one. If someone supports the make victim its always a dude .
