After parathyroid issues in her 20s, when Emma began to experience other symptoms, she used her skill as a GP to put the pieces of the puzzle together. She asked to be tested for MEN1. Despite her medical background, Emma's initial feelings about her diagnosis were similar to anyone else newly diagnosed with MEN1. Thankfully, she finds great comfort in running and yoga.
