That's great, it all came together for you on your first day. I'm interested in OBGYN with my focus wanting to specialize in RE. I give you credit for an "idea" that came to mind from your previous live. I'll let you know if my prayers & manifestations work out! 😅
Dr. Antonio! Thank you for the video. You’re an inspiration. I just started my NP school last week and the education I have gotten so far is really subpar. I’m going to just drop out and pursue medical school. My concern is the debt right after medical school as well as the time commitment and the training. I’m in my late 30’s but couldn’t fathom the stress medical school does to the body. How were you able to cope with it all?
Just make sure it's what you want to do before you make a move. Evaluate the situation and see what your options are. I wish you the best either way. Hang in there!
By the way future Dr Patterson I didnt mean you when I was carrying on annoyingly about trainee doctors being treated to hard with 24 hour shifts etc. I meant young doctors. I will try to advocate for a more sensible treatment of doctors with residency etc. The broader issue is of course lack of apporpriate manpower in hospitals thus the doctors are smashed and its part of the way doctors have had to navigate through training, basically equivalent to SEAL training! I like doctors to just focus on the love of Medicine and I like young people to be looked after. I like doctors like Dr Goobie that are gentle souls to not have to toughen up and all that, I like the love of Medicine to not be lost (especially Metabolic Medicine!!) But I was talking over you and your Doctors in training on that livestream! I got excited haha. Andre
