People who don’t believe they were molested have no basis and just say that to be argumentative. There is more proof than not that those parents were abusive in various ways.
They're both psychopaths who murdered their parents for financial gain. It was planned and premeditated. 35 years for one murder isn't enough, let alone for TWO murders.
They were sexually and physically abused from the age of six, these two boys have been psychologically and physically damaged. They were tortured by an abuser all their lives and you expect them to think rationally? Do you seriously think a child who is sexually abused their entire life would think and act the same as a child who grew up without this abuse?
Research the case and look at the character of those parents, the prosecutors could not find anyone apart from the one coworker of Jose to say anything good about those two grown adults. They are not these holy characters people want them to be. The brothers committed a crime and paid debt with their life being spent in prison more than they needed. This case is so complex and we as a society finally have enough knowledge to understand it hence the resentence.
@@DustyKnowledgeEric was betting on getting out via college and their dogmatic father completely shut it down. An abuser like that with the power and status Jose had they had no chance of leaving any glimmer of escape and they were pulled back in instantaneously.
Nobody could tell such stories in great detail repeatedly with deep context and show body language that indicates genuine emotion. You have not watched the whole trial.
Are we ever goina give then a lie detector test to see if there telling the truth? Or are we just goina let everyone out who committed premeditated? murder?
these brothers need to stay in prison.. they knew right from wrong and still they choose to kill their parents instead of walking away.. they were adults.. they could have walked away and told someone then Jose would have gone to prison. and then after these boys killed their parents.. they were happy about it and went on a shopping spree. they ONLY got caught because erik told his psychiatrist. yes i sympathize with what they went through, that does not give them the right to take 2 lives.
