Just built one of these beauties - 5th SS Wiking diorama - and enjoyed the build. I had a box of Fruil metal tracks in my stash so used them as I was put off slightly with the clean up of the tracks supplied in the box . Will keep them for spare tracks on other Panthers I have (Das Werk) . Great video .
Hi buddy good build like the atak zimmeritt I've got this kit also mengs panther D plus mengs bergepanther not built any of them yet.but the tracks seem a nitemare on the A version but just checked the other 2 kit and there tracks have 3 cut off point's instead of 4 but watching your video might buy some aftermarket tracks for all of them.thank you for sharing mate.cheers Gary from the UK 🇬🇧.
Good stuff. Looking great stus far. I built their Jagdpanther which is virtually the same for the lower hull/suspension. I concur on the awesomeness of the way the suspension ends up. Nice and level. And the tracks? I used a set of Kaizen tracks I had in the supply stash. I wasn't about to mess with the kit tracks... at least not on this build!
Hi Brett. I built this kit about 2 years ago. I half built the tracks.....I'm still waiting to finish them! Man.....those really killed my mojo. Fantastic kit though. Hope you are well and safe, my friend
Going to get this kit. After I these kids, just ordered meng 1/35 ft17 with cast turret and. Ryfield 1/35 Sherman hvss with interior! Cant wait tell I get them. Also thinking of picking up a Deagon models Sherman. Got any recommendations for dragon Sherman Sherman kits? You guys know about the 1st two kits?
Thanks for the video. I'm thinking of getting one of these as, like you, I build a lot of panthers. You've added the ariel storage tubes under the gun cleaning rod tube. These are only added to command tanks, as they hold the additional ariels the command tanks used. Is this pointed out in the instructions as an option , or do they just tell you to fit them?
Thanks for the reply. I'll be careful if and when I build mine.Hope it comes out as well as yours. Going to be using Meng's decal zimmerit, which I've never done before. Like you I prefer atak as it comes out well. @@ScaleModelAlberta
