Thank you very much. The only thing I ask is that you leave the list of foods on the screen a few seconds more. I will try the foods you have suggested. I'm so impressed I have subscribed. Thanks again!

I cried when you got to l cysteine. I have been hearing the same over and over and trying it. Your video was the first time in 10 years of losing my hair that I heard something different.

Thank you for this video. I will definitely be incorporating many of these foods into my diet. Losing hair in my 50’s has been a struggle for me. I always had a lot of volume and now it’s so thinned out. It does make me feel self conscious about myself. Thanks so much for the tips!

i will be honest, when I was eating all these things a year or so ago my hair was healthy, i had not hit my peak menopause of yet then which I am now, but I am not eating as healthy now either, and also believe I have damaged it some, but I can tell you the greying and the size/diameter of my grey hair is extremely small now, it is time for me to get back to regimen of healthy eating and hoping it is not too late. my scalp is also very dry, no dandruff, just not producing sebum ....time to spend some money on foods and get back at it

My hair is very thin and I'm trying all I can to make it thicker
@HolisticMenopauseWellness
@HolisticMenopauseWellness Год назад
@@beautymoeti5944 It's such a worry when that happens isn't it? Is it the actual hair thickness or the amount of hair that's thinning? Cutting back on sugar and simple carbs will hopefully help, as well as adding more healthy fats in your diet.

There's plenty of other foods to get omega 3 from: nuts and seeds, avocado, olives, olive oil, seaweed (I'm not sure if it will cause you a reaction to seaweed). Hope this helps.

I am trying to eat a colorful plate of fruits and vegetables,( I include all colors on my plate: green, orange, red, yellow, black, blue) etc I prefer to eat them raw, but I cook vegetables also, I eat plain yogurt, plain Greek yogurt, I eat unsalted nuts, I eat chick peas, kidney beans, black beans, tofu, tempeh, for protein , herbal teas, water, coconut water, limit to one or two cups of coffee a day, I very rarely eat out, I limit junk food, I limit sugar and sodium intake etc everyday most of my diet consists of these foods. I am a vegetarian. My skin is pretty healthy but I am suffering lot of hairloss. Because of hormonal imbalance due to perimenopause and menopause. I am 47. Please advise

Look women the only thing to help grow your hair keep it on your head if you suffer from androgenic alopecia is HRT.
@smilodon87
@smilodon87 Месяц назад
Not true. I am on HRT. Also on all the vitamins mentioned here and a pristine diet. Also on minoxidil and laser therapy. My hair is still falling out.
@tresjolieme81
@tresjolieme81 28 дней назад
@@smilodon87 have you tried microneedling. I think it has to do with the roots too they have to be strong and anchored down. Thats why i think minoxidil works it maintains stronger roots despite the androgens hitting it. I'm not sure Ive yet to try minoxidil because i heard harms cats.

I lost 50 % hair volume following surgical removal of both ovaries at Age 41. Now at 58. The quality is so Poor. It's embarrassing. I took HRT For 18 years. Never helped my hair. Have androgenic alopecia.

I'm so sorry to hear about your experience. I started losing my hair in the summer, so I know how you feel. Luckily, I managed to work out what was causing it. I'll be sharing my experience in a new video soon. Hopefully this video on re growing your hair helps you. Has your doctor given you any more help, apart from HRT?
@carolinekelly4726
@carolinekelly4726 Год назад
Yes. They checked all my blood work, looked for various conditions such as thyroid etc. I saw a tricologist, dermatologist. All said the same thing. Androgenic alopecia. Won't grow back. I stopped HRT about a year ago and my hair shredded even more. It's settled now As well as the other symptoms. I 'm Glad to be off it, always had side effects with it and the increased chance of breast cancer. I had a horrible menopause but I feel much better now. I had estrogen patch in the end for years. Apparently you need all your hormones to help your Hair. I will watch your channel and Put into practice your ideas. Maybe It will help strengthen the bit I have Left. 😊 Thank you for your reply. Keep up the good work. 😊

I'm sorry to hear that. Have you seen your doctor just to rule any issues out? It's difficult to know what may be causing you to lose your eyebrows, without knowing more about you.
