hey guys love this video! so helpful. I am coming to Menorca this weekend and would love to know if you have any food recommendations? Mainly in Citudella, Mahon and Binbecca would be amazing. thanks so much xx
Hey! Welcome to Menorca ❤️ we’re not foodies but these are the most famous restaurants in the island: **Restaurants** Café Balear S’amarador Cap roig Es cranc / Cranc Pelut Restaurant Trébol **Sunset bars** Isabella Beach Club Ivette Beach Club Cova d’en Xoroi Stay tuned cause we’ll be making a video about this topic soon! 🙌🏻
Thank you for your videos and congrats on the engagement. Could you please make video with some food tour with specific places known for the best fish, octopus, coffee and pastries on the island
Hi, we are taking our first visit to thenisland in just under two weeks. Only a three night stay but hopefully enough time to get a taster. I hope it wont be quite so busy as it will be later in July and into August bit we will brace ourselves We are staying on the west side in Cala en Blanes and plan to use public transport to visit a couple of places .
Hey! We usually recommend to go for about 5 to 7 days if you want to see the whole island. But you can also have a lovely time with just a long weekend. In October the weather may not be the best already so perhaps 7 days will be too much if you don’t go to the beach every day, in which case 3 full days could be a good amount 😊
Is it ok to arrive to Cavalleria around 10 am? Or is it one of those beaches where you need to arrive very early? I want to go to Monte Toro and ensaimadas before 😋 So I can watch the sunset at Far de Cavalleria.
Yes 10 AM should fine at this beach, it’s not as crazy as the popular ones in the south of the island! That sounds like a great plan, we hope you have an amazing time 😊🙌
Late October the water will already be chilly! If you want to catch the sunny beach days I recommend going in June or July when it’s nice but not as busy as August
You’re very welcome! 🤗 Yes - You must try Cova D’en Xoroi it’s an incredible club. And then also in Ciutadella, next to the port, there’s lots of clubs and bars next to each other. Look up “Iguanaport”, it’s a very popular one, and next to it there’s lots more. Hope you enjoy your visit!
Hello you two beautiful happy people:). I love your videos. I desperately need your help. Pretty please! Ill be heading to Menorca in a few weeks. Do you know of any “old fashioned “ wine bars? I think they are called Bodegas? I’ve never been to one and ai hope theres one on Menorca Island. Yeh know the ones with big wooden barrels. And they serve wine straight from barrels. Do you know if there are any in Menorca? Xx
Thanks for your lovely comment! So gad to hear you enjoy our videos 😊 Yes, of course! Check out these Bodegas, they’re all beautiful and great to experience local wine: 1. Bodegas Menorquinas 2. Bodegas Binifadet 3. Binitord Bodega 4. HORT SANT PATRICI.
Not sure when you guys were last in Menorca, but we’re here now & getting to beaches such as Turquetta after 9.00 is impossible. We eventually got into the car park today at 8:15! Hate to think what it’s going to be like at peak. Had a very interesting chat (I’m Spanish) with one of the locals & the hype is killing the joy according to this guy. He’s been here 25 years & leaving soon! Shame because it is a beautiful island. Personally, I think it’s all over priced & underwhelming. I’m sticking to Andalucía, Cantabria & Catalunya from now on. Gracias por los vídeos y buena suerte.
Btw you won’t be able to park at Macarella from 1st July. Access by bus only apparently as the cars are causing more traffic issues which means the buses can’t get down the narrow roads.
Hola Jose! Thanks for your comment and insight. It seems like tourists are going to menorca earlier every year, and that high season is extending into more than just the summer months. It’s a shame the prices are rising but it’s normal as there’s definitely more demand than a few years ago. We were there last August and we will be visiting again this summer. The trick is to avoid the extremely famous locations - The island is full of other beautiful spots and beaches that are less popular. Either way we hope you enjoyed your visit. The best thing about Spain is its diversity and Andalucía, Cantabria and Cataluña are also beautiful locations to explore 🤩
