Your videos have also played a big role and continue to help in mastering turning skills. In most cases, I watch your videos without translating subtitles. English is at an intermediate level, but the general essence and your actions themselves are quite clear. However, sometimes I turn on auto-translation of subtitles. On my videos, I try to manually add English subtitles using a translator. This way they are more accurate. On very large videos, manually adding subtitles for every 5 minutes of video takes 40 minutes of time, it's quite possible to go crazy on several-hour releases. There I already hope for the accuracy of the automatic translation of RU-vid itself

I was told it was Jarrah by the turner who sent it to me. It is marked on the bottom as Jarrah with pyrography so I think it will remain that way, right or wrong. 🙃

Merbau usually has gold/yellow flecks in it, not seeing any of that in this wood.
