I'm so happy to share this, from past 2 months I started using cup and my periods are so easy! This is seriously life changing once our body gets comfortable with it.
I just wanna ask only one question how uncomfortable it is at the beginning??? Is it painful or what??? I'm switching to a s cup but I don't know I've heard story of it getting stuck inside the body 😱 here I'm not able to insert one ....I don't want to experience any of these cases just want to have a smooth mess free periods 😐....
Omggg I just did it now and it worked!!! It went in so easily and I don't feel it at all. Zero discomfort. I did the squating position btw. Its been 2months since I got my menstrual cups and it always caused me me much discomfort whenever I tried to use it. Thanks so much for this. It was very helpful💖
Hey, how do you get it out, which position I mean? Since the cup comes back out in the original shape unlike how it goes in with a smaller opening because I am having a crisis over here. And also, the cup simply isn't opening back in I think. Idk if I need to push it deeper inside because then the removal process would be even more stressful.
Thank you so much Glamrs! I bought a menstrual cup (small one) 2 years ago but I could never use it properly because of this problem of insertion. I think the anxiety part is the biggest cause for that. I'll make a conscious effort to stay more relaxed next time.
HI there, try getting into a squatting position. It relaxes the pelvic muscles, makes your vaginal canal shorter and wider, and lowers down the pelvic floor slightly, thus making it easier for you to reach in and grab the base of the cup. Here are 3 ways to fold a menstrual cup, try them all and stick with the one that suits you 😊 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zink_u_ed7s.html Team Glamrs

My advice would be to try menstrual cup on your heavy days during shower and in a squat position that will make the insertion process a lot easy for you. I did the same and I inserted correctly on my first try . Hope you find this helpful
@@kusumshekhawat128 I use menstrual cup wash to wash the cup n ofcourse during shower I keep the cup in a mug filled with hot water to sanitize the cup

Great tips! Patience is very important with cups. It takes some time to learn how to position it correctly and how to take it out, but it's worth it. My periods are much better and more comfortable with my lily cup.
Thank you 🌷 I'm 29 & this video saved me. I did a deep squat & punchdown fold. Stem sticking out a bit so I might cut it for next time. Almost gave up because I was trying to insert it like a tampon.
Hey there, we are extremely happy and glad to know that you were able to use the menstrual cup properly and that this video helped you 🙂 If the stem is sticking out or causing any discomfort to you, you can trim it a little bit. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. - Team Glamrs

Hey there! Must be washed with mild soap everytime but its okay if once in between washes its just rinsed with water if you dont have access to soap - Team Glamrs
For me labia fold works the best. Tiny insertion point and ideal for medium- soft firmness cups. I use this fold on lunette size small and saalt soft size large. Labia fold i hard to maintain on harder cups like lunette large, yukii etc.

I would also like to add what I was doing wrong was I was that I was inserting cup at a wrong angle so before anyone tries make sure that you are inserting it in the right angle
I have been using this product for 3 months...I really loved it...and the magical things is I sometime forget that I have in my period ❤️. ..... thank you sharing this... love from Assam❤️❤️❤️❤️
I've bought a menstrual cup, but I still haven't been able to insert it, I mean, I just can't find enough space!! Like I know where to insert it, which fold and everything, but I can't even insert a single finger there. Any suggestions as to how it can hurt less? I really want to use the cup but I haven't had success yet. Could you help out with a proper model or maybe throw a link to one?

I tried it but its very tough and it hurts me when taking it out. It kind of burns or feels like scatchy when putting in or out. Am 19 so maybe its too early. I even followed all the points you said still no use.Am scared to use in next cycle Also after period i got a bit bledding at times which never happened

Hey! Glamrs thankyou so much...10 minutes before I was watching your video after an unsuccessful attempt of inserting the cup. I'm a beginner and using the cup for the first time and was quite nervous after the failed attempt ..I was using the C fold but it didn't work for me. I was in the squat position in Indian toilet 😂...after watching your video that punchdown fold worked magical..it went so smooth but... Note:- At the end of the cup you have to struggle a little as that part is somewhat bigger due to the fold...don't panic at that moment just rotate the cup a little and try to insert the raised part inside..it will go smoothly. After putting it in move your fingers round the stem of the cup to make sure that it is opened. All the best! Thanks Glamrs ✨
@Glamrs I must say that you should also tell about diamond fold ...It is the best one for making insertion easy as well as it also made sure that the cup is fully opened inside 😁. All in all ...thanks RU-vid ♥️
Hey i wanted to ask that wht happens when we cut the stem? In my opinion stem helps to guide us to the cup...sorry if i said anything wrong i don't know much i just started using it...please tell me the difference
Started using them since Feb 2021. They r simple awesome. The only problem I felt is while using sirona cup it has got a bit yellow. I am bit stressed that is it healthy to use it now. Please reply how can I clean it. Boiling is not a option for me........mamma said it was not okay. Pls reply
Hey there! You need to replace them in 1-2 years. Also to clean it, just use a mild soap (baby soap or shampoo) no need to use dettol or anything else! - Team Glamrs
@@snehasarkar6795 I cleaned them with soap multiple times. Every time I reinsert them I definitely wash them but they are getting reddish yellowish with each use. I used spare toothbrush and soap and still the stain is not gone. Can u pls suggest some method. If it doesn't works this time. I will get a new one for myself. Coz I don't think it is safe to use it now. It will be really kind if u could suggest something
Please suggest some good brands....the cup I'm currently using is giving me leakage...I guess either it's too small or it's so soft that it's not opening up inside..
As I found that when I remove it, I only reach the tip of the stem (the end). Is it normal or should I go for another size where I will be able to reach the base of the cup easily? P.S. I'm 19 years young :)
Hey there! Here is a detailed video that may answer all your questions ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-o1DS6q1h2LY.html Incase you need more help let us know! - Team Glamrs
I have a doubt. Won't that stem go inside? Can we sit normally before how we used to sit or do we have to be very careful in sitting posture after insertion?
Hi Janhavi, the stem should sit inside the opening of the vagina and should not be outside your body. The whole menstrual cup, including the stem, should be inside your vagina. If the stem is sticking out, gently push your cup further in. Once the cup has been inserted the right way, it is so comfortable that you don't even remember it's there! Team Glamrs
For those who are trying to insert the cup and won't be able: I have been trying to insert the cup for atleast four months from now, i think morethan that,. So let me give you some tips 1.find your vaginal hole by placing a mirror under you and use your middle finger of the hand you which you have more flexibility ,i had used my right hand middle finger. You should be in full squat position as shown in the video 2.afer finding the place, make sure that are is lubrication , first day of periods is hard for many so try this from your second day. Your cup and vaginal area should be wet, use normal water for this. 3.then slowly try to insert it. I had tried for almost 2 hours to insert it, so take a deep breath and do it when you are free 4.when you start inserting it slowly push your body upward not much only a bit so that you can feel the cup is moving inside 5.Talk to yourself while inserting like' yes come on, i can insert it, it's almost there something like that. When you feel motivated it will be more easy. And you may not be able to do it in the first try itself but don't giveup you can do it.
First insert the middle finger to know the direction to which the cup should be moved and how much it has to. You will touch a place which is similar to that of your nose tip, it is the place from which the blood is coming
I am not sure about stem part. I am using a small cup of size 3.5. It is gets visible only when I open the flap of labia minora. Is that correct? or is it still out? I took me four attempt to finally get it inside. Thanks for pointing out anxiety during insertion. Deep relaxed breathing really helped me out.
Hi Nikita, No, thats normal for the stem and as long as its not sticking out when you’re sitting / standing normally and you can feel it then you’re fine. Much love Team Glamrs
Thank you so much I don't think any of these is going to work for me except maybe the lub which I can really get from anywhere rightnow...I somehow ordered a cup hiding from my mother now I'm struggling to get it works I had soooooo many hopes for mess free periods 😭😭 I'll try getting again hope this time it may work 🙏🙏🙏
Hey Anchal, make sure you’re using the correct cup and size for your body and your flow. Sometimes it can take a bit of trial and error to find the right fit. If you have a particularly low cervix, a shorter, wider cup might fit you best. If you have a high cervix, a longer cup is likely to fit you best (we wouldn’t recommend using a short cup if you have a high cervix - your cup can move further up your vagina as you move around which means that a short cup might be harder to reach). Hey, glamrs...I watch all your videos, and they are really informative. I actually wanted to ask something; I have been using a menstrual cup since the last 4 months, but still I'm getting leaks, what to do? I'm 20. I really want to go with it!
Hey Indu, There could be a few reasons, cup might be too small, flow might be too heavy and you may need to change it more often, it may not be properly open inside. Sometimes very small leaks are normal because its usually what around the cup on the walls of your vagina that tends to slide down and come out as a tiny stain. - Team Glamrs
My menstrual cup size is small but heavy flow in school creates huge tension because my school washrooms are not clean. Can I use medium size in heavy flow (but small size fitted me).
Hey there! Its probably not opening properly. It needs to create a proper suction block which is what prevents the leaks. So first it should be inserted deep enough. The stem should be one nails distance inside the vagina and not poking out. Then feel further up to make sure its opened properly, if its not opening twist it slightly, wiggle it back and forth, slightly change the angle or consciously relax your vaginal muscles. Once its open rotate it a couple of times fully, that seals it. - Team Glamrs
Hii Glamrs. I bought a menstrual cup after watching your videos since I'm allergic to pads. It's been a year and no matter what I try, the cup leaks everytime. I still use pads for backup, which takes out the purpose of cup. Do you think I should try another cup or size? I'm in my 20s, unmarried, using smaller cup from sanfe.
Hi Sheena, here are the most common reasons why your cup might be leaking: - The holes around the rim of the menstrual cup are clogged. The holes are there for a reason: When the cup fills up with blood, the air-pressure inside the cup increases and is released through the holes. If the holes are clogged, the pressure cannot be released and the blood finds another way to flow: Around the cup. To avoid this, try to empty it more often during the first few days of your period/whenever your flow is heavier, and make sure the holes are clear before inserting. You can clean the holes with a sterilized pin or toothpick, or fill the cup with water up to the rim, place your hand on the rim and press the cup- the water will woosh out through the holes and clean them! -It’s possible that your cup is leaking because it’s overflowing. If you find that your flow is super heavy on the first few days, you can empty your cup more frequently until it feels like it has started to slow down. We recommend checking every 3-4 hours if this is the case so you don’t have any surprise leaks! -The placement of your cup in your inner genitals is another common culprit of leaks. It’s possible that your cup is sitting too low in your vaginal canal, which is affecting its ability to properly suction. To place it a bit higher, try inserting it while leaning forwards, and think about inserting it so that it is pointing forwards instead of upwards. Sometimes it takes a bit of trial and error to find a way to insert it that works best for your body, so be patient with yourself if you don’t get it perfect right away. -Your period cup might be the wrong size. if you find that your size won’t fully open no matter the fold, you may have to downsize a size. We hope this helps you ❤️ Team Glamrs
@@GLAMRSTV Thank you so much for your suggestions. I do check the rim holes and place the cup higher with the finger trick I found once in your video. I will try other ways. Thank you.

Can you please suggest me that is it good to use menstrual Cup or not ? I am afraid l just now Start using menstrual cup it wont get leak please tell me ?
Hi Shriya, it's completely understandable to feel scared or hesitant about trying something new like a menstrual cup. However, many people find that cups can be more comfortable and convenient than traditional period products once they get used to them. It might be helpful to do some research on how to use the cup properly and try it out at home when you have some free time. Remember, it's normal to have a learning curve with any new product, so don't be too hard on yourself if it takes some practice to get the hang of using a menstrual cup. To ensure that your menstrual cup doesn't leak, it's important to choose the right size for your body and to follow the manufacturer's instructions for insertion and removal. It may take some practice to get used to using a menstrual cup, but with time and experience you will likely find that it becomes easier and more comfortable.
