Same i prefer menstrual cup because it's eco friendly and easy to use..and yes I am a virgin too..also if you buy a menstrual cup make sure it's your size like small, medium or large and I use a small because am 17. Pads contribute to pollution so I avoid buying pads as much as possible..it's okay to feel uncomfortable using menstrual cup for the first time because I did feel it too so here's what I did..I inserted the cup when I was not on my period to get used to it..I slept on it and even went to school..and I started using it while I was on my period and it's comfortable for me now..people are rlly uneducated on this and I wish people would give it a try before saying no to this.
not everyone has the courage to do that... many people r not comfortable to use this... so don't force anyone to use that.. everyone has different choices
@@yoonfic I'm not forcing anyone. I'm asking to give it a try before saying no because menstrual cup is so much more eco friendly than pads. So many people fear it but trust me if doesn't hurt as much as you think it might. Just give it a try and if you aren't comfortable then fine don't do it.
Well if the tampon hurt, you may of inserted it wrong maybe if you wish try again at a 45 degree angle and hopefully it won't heart and maybe put one leg up on the toilet seat or what you feel comfortable with doing BTW, this is just advice and I'm not a doctor
As long as you relax your vaginal muscles you should be fine to slide the cup in. It's not too hard, just takes practice and patience. Good luck to you! :)
Alr well I’m sticking with a pad because I don’t wanna stick my fingers inside the yk what to get it out it would be so PAINFUL AUGH BEING A GIRL IS SO DIFFICULT😭
I got my period about 6 months ago and I still no matter how hard I try even with super light tampons they don’t go in and if they do there really painful 😢and I’m a competitive swimmer so I either can’t go to any water events or have to wear a pad and risk leaks and drenching the pad (and before you suggest I am particularly small sized and unique shaped lady so period bathing suits don’t usually Have my size sadly😢) I’m open to any ideas pls❤
Hi, a tampon shouldn't be painful when it's inserted! I'm not sure if something like vaginismus might be affecting the application of the product. Period panties might be another option, though if period swimsuits don't work for you I'm not certain. There are different styles, so perhaps you could take a look? But yeah, assuming your tampon application is correct, and it's still hurting that much, vaginismus doesn't sound out of the question. Best of luck!
This is gonna be long 😃 Here are suggestions for swimmers during their period: 1. _Period-proof swim trunks_: Some trunks have a built-in period liner or pocket for a pad. 2. _Swim pads with wings_: Some pads have wings that wrap around your thighs, providing extra protection and security. 3. _Reusable period swim disks_: Some disks are designed to be worn inside your swimsuit, providing absorbency and protection. 4. _Waterproof period swim skirts_: Some skirts have a built-in waterproof liner and are designed for swimming during your period. 5. _Period swim briefs with extra absorbency_: Some briefs have extra absorbency in the crotch area, providing added protection. 6._ Period-proof swim leggings_: Some leggings have a built-in period liner or pocket for a pad. 8_. Swim pads with a leak-resistant core_: Some pads have a leak-resistant core that helps prevent accidents. 9. _Reusable period swim ponies_: Some ponies are designed to be worn inside your swimsuit, providing absorbency and protection. 10. _Waterproof period swim bodysuits_: Some bodysuits have a built-in waterproof liner and are designed for swimming during your period. 11. _Period swim briefs with a built-in pad_: Some briefs have a built-in pad that provides extra absorbency and protection. Remember, it's essential to prioritize your comfort and confidence in the water. If you're still exploring options, consider consulting with a healthcare professional or a swim coach for personalized guidance. And it's amazing that u are a competitive swimmer wish u luck And hope it helps ❤😊.
@@circlefaux you fold it and gently slide it in and then let go of the fold and let it open, which activates the suction and once you wanna pull it out, don’t pull the stem or touch it until you grab the base of the actual cup and squeeze the base gently to deactivate the suction and then gently wiggle it out
What do you do if you’re out in public and your cup is full? Can you imagine in the public restroom dumping out your period cup and rinsing it in the sink in front of everybody?
You can get a portable bidet, which is like a collapsing water bottle you can fill and bring in with you or wait for the handicap stalls the have sinks
