People say I’m lazy. I don’t talk to my friends any more. Haven’t left the house in a month. I need to find work but even that is a challenge. I feel like I’m stuck. I haven’t given up, but I haven’t found the will to step up. And being stuck here in this spot is what keeps me from becoming a better me.

Its true about talking about your feelings. My mom use to threaten to smack me when she'd ask me "whats wrong" and I'd say nothing but the truth is that getting smacked was sometimes the only time I'd ever actually feel anything.

I’ve had severe depression since I was 13 because in that same year I went to 5 funerals of very close people to me. I never really made it out and now I’m 23 feeling even worse. Life’s hard

For all the talk that is done about this subject, the studies and everything else, stepping away from people who don't value you is the gateway to finding peace on your own, without needing to keep people around. I do not miss anyone, I never think I'd rather share a moment with someone else, I care about my loved ones, I help when I can, I visit every once in a while and keep to myself most of the time. The anxiety is never gone, but the peace of the present moment with nobody else around you is the one antidote that has worked. The way I'm living makes me feel everyone talking about these things is dead wrong and I should protect myself from them.

Ive made it past 25. Needless to say life has its ups and downs but hold steady. No matter how hopeless, we all sit here and comment because we relate. We arent alone.

I had depression when i was 12 but no one believed me cuz i always looked too happy and also becuase its not normal for a 12 year old to have it i started playing video games to stop thinking about stuff and for some reason i stopped feeling so sad and tired i thought it would never get better but it actually did you just got to take your mind of it i love you❤ :)

This reminded me of my own depression I mean, it isn't as bad as it used to be (I thought about wishing that I'd die in my sleep), but sometimes I still have to fake that smile because I don't really feel happy/don't really feel anything There's still times where I just can't keep the happy facade up, but I'm managing usually I am around people I love, like my classmates, my mother, and that adorable dumbass of a boyfriend, so there are moments in which I really feel happy and can at least forget the emptiness. I sometimes miss the complete awareness of my surroundings, the feeling that I'm the only one who can *truly* see the world how it is, but I tell myself that I feel happy way more often. That depression and the pain and emptiness it brings with it isn't worth it.

I was going to jump in front of a train last night but I didn't run fast enough to get to the front of it. I collapsed when I missed it because I was crying and just wanted the pain and suffering to end I'm not good enough for people, I always screw things up and almost everyone I know I feel like they really don't care im to the point where it feels like what's the point I can't see the light side of life anymore I'm lonely and I'm tired 😩. The worst part is I'm the leader of my family because everyone who knows me looks up to me somewhat even though I've become bitter and an asshole towards the people I love the most but I truly hate myself and it might just be my past trauma from almost being murdered to getting raped and molested when I was 4 years old and the fact that my parents never wanted me or the abuse that I received as a child. I understand that some people have had a harder life than me but I can't get over the traumas that I've been through and id never hurt anyone but myself because at this point I feel like I deserve the pain and the hurt I put myself through, existence is pain and I just want to try out life again IDC if it's as a different person just let me restart my miserable existence. I'm literally hanging on by a thread of luck at this point 😭. I'm sorry for the trauma dump I've never ever ever told anyone what happened to me when I was 4 and I understand this is the Internet and it will be here forever but maybe someone can relate to my pain and my misery I don't know but just know it took me 19 years to admit that I'm 23 now and idk if I'll make it to 24 but Ill do my best to not give in to the pain and suffering I hope no one who sees this comments says anything rude because i cannot take the bullies no longer I know one day im going to take my life and if i don't get to it my fake artery will be what kills me, makes me wish my cousin would have been a better shot with that 12 get when he attempted to murder me

When you go through this it feels like a pain of something inside. I felt it in my heart and it happens a lot due to feeling a sadness of something you can't control and thoughts you can't control and when you feel like you get pushed away by others and have others go with someone else hurts which happens to lots you feel worse and have the thoughts. and getting punched instead of talking is true due to you not wanting to talk and feeling left out adds to those feelings that says "No one Cares about you" which ends up being another reason adding to the thoughts that make you feel terrible. A helpful message to everyone reading push away those thoughts and try to include yourself don't think others don't care talk to someone.❤❤❤

To all men struggling : that woman in the video is NOT a true woman. She is a child. I am 30 years old and have NEVER treated a man like that. What she said makes her look like shes in high school and hense the reason why she was doing a show like that because noone wants her for her hideous innerself. MEN YOU ARE GREAT. So many young men nowadays have such hard times finding love, a faithful woman, a good job, a good decent place to live without going broke over rent. If you are a man and struggling with your feelings just find one person whether it be friend or family or good stranger and just let your feelings out. REAL MEN CRY! Everybody needs somebody. I always found it funny that I always found some way to help others but not myself and ya know life is weird I'm not entirely sure if things are starting to get better or if I'm getting use to it no matter how many problems come into my life but my temporary solution is to just force myself to be positive and see the good but that alone is really hard but I find my reasons to go on even if it isn't for me but right now all I know is I gotta be there for my best friend and put all my effort into supporting him and his dream and though I don't have a reason to live for myself so best I can do is build others up to happiness as I crumble each day from my own weight

To be a good person you must understand it will be extremely lonely in western countries. Westerners have completely disregarded everything that does not glorify or pleasure the self. Most people will never know you exist and will not care how the society is. Thy will just serve themselves.

For men dealing with other men. We mostly care about their actions, not so much their words. When it comes to dealing with the women we want to know or in our lives we mostly care about their word more than their actions. Ladies your words can sometimes break us in ways I don't think you realize.

I have epilepsy and I was prescribed some medication pills. The first ones were too weak and I still had occasional seizures. Then they gave me different pills which were too strong. What I want to say is that those pills gave me a mental breakdown, leading to sudden suicidal thoughts and a hollow feeling inside. Things that used to make me feel good and happy felt like nothing. I felt like a different kind of person back then, scared of almost everything. I couldn't even touch my phone for a while because I had no reason or desire to do so. Once, I went grocery shopping with my family and drank some cocoa, but it didn’t give me any kind of emotion. It was like my body was there but my mind was flushed down the toilet into a dark abyss of nothing. You could describe it as an artificial depression. I used to wonder, "How can someone be depressed? How does it feel?" In the end, I regret ever asking that question.

Man, your shorts make me tear up 😟 I feel so bad about the feminist movement making men out to be superficial and only seeking sex or money, when it definitely goes both ways (and is also a rude generalization about any of the genders as these character traits vary so much from person to person). Also it seems to be a trend for women to focus so much on men having money and being able to provide for them, that they don't really think about love. I think some of these women believe they can't get love, so they go for money, which is so sad. I used to and still do think that the best thing that has changed in society is the fact that it is socially acceptable and even more expected to marry out of love than for money. It seems that some people are returing to some of the old values of western societies, such as the focus of money in relationships, for women, and misogeny for men. I think people from both genders have some healing to do ❤

A lot of guys say that it’s tough when you have no one to talk to, but the ones that would be talking to you are long gone. They died long ago bc they took on the hardships of everyone around them, and never got anything in return. The reason that everyone feels lonely is bc the ones that can help, already did, and paid their dues for it

Mental health is like walking up a mountain, the top always looks so far away, but when u turn around, u see how far uve come. There will always be a tomorrow, no matter what, no matter how bad u feel, there's nothing that'll take that away from u, how u feel right now, dosent determine how ull feel in the future, its a lot of work but trust me it's worth it

Not going to lie, there have been times when not seeing tomorrow felt like a valid and preferred option. The gym saved me. I’m not in shape by any means, but just going there and getting out of my head space, seeing all those chances to better myself, just a short walk on a treadmill or a few bicep curls to make my body hurt like my heart, it got me through more of those days than I can describe.

Lofe is such a big inspiration for me I mean his 1 million subs video really impacted me because even though I didn’t go through the same things I know people who did and I have such empathy for those people it’s really hard for them

I see this all the time in my field of work... However it always brings joy when I can help and just listen. Might not seem like much at first but sometimes that's the only thing keeping them holding on. Everyone please know that you are valued and loved in God's eyes. Man this hits hard life was good as a kid then I graduated was very nervous and scared if I couldn't find a job thinking that was the most important thing at the time especially knowing you gotta play catch up in the world and didn't know what to expect coming out of school at 18 and in the same year my brother was murdered and my whole outlook on life completely changed here I am 26 and I really dont care about living life im not depressed anymore but a majority of who I was died the day he did and I'm so numb to it until I come across a video like this

My brothers, physical fitness can go a long way to helping your mental health. I got into it while life was dealing me blow after blow. It was always there. I was like "well my life is turning to $hit, BUT I am smashing it at the gym." It also helps level out your emotions and regulate your mood. We aren't built for easy, you gotta get some voluntary suffering into your life.

I have scars that I have to hide every day because I know what can happen without a moments notice. Even if you ate twice instead of once, smiled with a genuine smile for once in a while. It’s improvement. No matter how small, no matter how tiny it may seem, you are improving. You can do this. You got this. I’m rooting for you. I believe in you and I know you more than you know yourself. It’s not worth losing what you have, even when it feels hopeless, just know that the little improvements need not be ignored, if anyone needs someone to talk to, I want you guys to know I’m here. I’m 25 I was depressed since grade 8, I’m finally working on me and I feel good I’ve never felt better😊 I’m happy that I realized that the things I did, didn’t help me and made me miserable. I’m glad I can be happy again ❤

God healed me of my depression and suicidal thoughts I had ocd and it was a living torture every day, and thoughts kept telling me, "Just end it already. There's no hope. " I prayed, and God healed me and delivered me And he can too for you he loves you and he wants to save you theres still hope

As a now adult that watched Dan TDM when I was younger, it was weirdly reassuring to know that even the big figures in my life still suffered the same as I did, but I'm still so sorry that depression got its gold of him... 😢

That you got the will, the strenght and the motivation somewhere in you. Just let it out and walk away from those who hurt you for no excuses. Yea I’m kinda going through depression right now, they just put me on more meds just last week. There’s just so much, my parents got divorced now my dad is dating and she has a kid so I might have a step brother, it’s all just so strange to me that I wouldn’t know this kid, I wouldn’t have grown up with him. these past few years have been killing me seriously It's been about five years since I actually spoke to anyone except a few of my family members I've been suicidal just about my entire life And when my grandmother asked how i was doing in the head albeit while drunk I actually wanted to just break down and cry I'm glad I didn't because I'd probably gotten in trouble for it It sucks it really does I've been out of school for a while so knowing that I'll most likely never get anywhere in life in the future Knowing nothing will ever get better Knowing ill most likely die alone Knowing everything I love will eventually die or be forgotten I hate it so much

DanTDM was my childhood and when I saw him talking about his mental health, it scared me a little bit or not scares the right word more shocked me but I’m just glad he’s doing good now and hearing that he said he didn’t almost didn’t make it kind of scary. I’m just glad he’s OK.

I had a friend like he was alone in the canteen so I sit next to him and I said are you ok? He said no because he’s mom passed away and he told me that he’s mom is kind,loving,caring person and he cried after he said that because he’s mom is he’s only hope and it make me cry I felt the pain of a person that lost there parents it hits hard fr😢

I understand if Life is going bad I tried to take my life before but when I saw everyone around me and how it affected them I was only 12 at the time I'm now 14 I was given a second chance but barely had that chance so remember if you don't love yourself others do and when you want to hurt yourself go and hug someone you love and trust that's what I do

I don't mind talking about feelings. The rejection is what hurts. I've been jumped and beaten for nothing more than the color of my skin and I'd rather go through that again then suffer rejection from every girl i like. Physical pain is significantly far easier to deal with than emotional pain.

Before I went to college, I told my family I wasn't ready, and in fact I didn't want to go because I wasn't good at school. I love to learn, but not in a school environment. My family berated me called me lazy, a failure, etc. so I went, and I didn't finish. I dropped out, wasted my money, ended up in debt, just for my family to again call me a failure and a bum. Don't appeal to people's happiness because your expected outcome is not guaranteed.

That why man, When loving parents still alive and man take care of them is The best feeling to talk about themselves.
