Djokovic is right. Many people believe that successful people are blessed with talent and some innate ability, but in reality success is the result of years of hard work and perseverance.

@@flytamers7957right, but if he did not work as hard as he did and live like a champion in every way in his life, he would not be where he is today. Talent is great and wonderful to have, but he’s one of the hardest working humans on and off the court.

@@Rodrigorodriguez20241 hardwork only can't let the sportsman too far. Hardworking talent will just go much faster and much further. The talent without hardwork and dedication will be like Nick Kyrgios. I think he was hardworking enough in the childhood, but stopped improving when found himself in ATP top 100. He could achieve much more. Untalented guys will not reach it. A coach can recognize the dedication and devotion but won't invest his time into the poor final result. Why should a coach spend several years, when he can take someone talented and show the result? So, hardworking + talent. Nadal combines both. Federer despite everything looked so easy on court made a lot of homework on his shots to make them looking so easy. Djokovic too. His childhood shootouts - you see the pure talent. He was a fast learner.

sure, tell djokovic or any other stars in their respective sport to play other sports and see how far they can go 😂😂😂. They definitely do push each other to the limits. Each one needed to figure out how to become better and stronger to keep competing with the other ones who would be likely thinking and doing the same thing (improving), so the bar would always keep increasing and you'd either step up or fall behind. That's why rivalries are so important in sports if the players are to reach their limits, without them they could easily become stagnant due to a lack of challenge, or even worse, never realize that there even is so much more to achieve.

@@Mdksupreme1 why not?? Tell me what more he needa to do?? Jist compare him with Jordan, someone who by many people is recognised as the GOAT athlete. He isn't the greatest winner in his sport, it's Bill Russel, he hasn't nearly the best longevity in his sport, there are at least 2 basketball players who have better longevity than him, simply Jordan is phenomenal as a basketball player, he is definitely GOAT NBA player for me, but of we talk about athletes in general, his career comparing to other greats simply isn't complete... There are many flaws, he left basketball few times and came back and that truly hurt his legacy and btw you can make a legitimate argument for Lebron or Kareem or maybe even someone else to have also some GOAT aspects in his career. When you see Novak and what he did in his sport, he is statosticly by far the greatest player in his sport, he is by far the greatest winner because he has the highest winning % than everyone else, he has most grand slams (24 and counting), he has most masters titles than everybody else (40 and counting), he has most ATP finals titles (7 and counting), he is miles ahead of everyone else in weeks at number 1 (420 and counting to 500 comparing to Federer who has 310) and Djokovic achieved all his acolaxesand records IN THE TOGHEST ERA OF HIS SPORT. HE PLAYED 70% of his career against two other greatest players in this sport and Alcaraz would be probably the greatest tennis player ever after these 3 and maybe rven Sinnerand Medvedev would be all time tennis players when they finish their careers. Djokovic faced all these guys in his career while crowd was always insulting him. No other athlete had to deal with bigger presure than him. Jordan had 0% in his career if you compare him with Djokovic. People admire him in his sport. In tennis, people are hating Djokovic.

True. Ability to regulate emotions is instrumental in achieving targets. Emotions both euphoric and negative can have an impact on performance. One needs to register event think through and back on track. Whenever we are stressed our first physiological response to stress is shortness of breath. By elongating breaths or conscious breathing one fuels the brain with much required oxygen when those nerves are tightening and also some timeout for self before reacting. A lot can be achieved if thinking is task based than emotion or a person based. Get back to task as soon as you can by regulating your emotions.

I disagree totally. Our mind is very complicated. He says it's impossible to have a mindset like "have positive thoughts, be optimistic" but I've noticed that Federer and Nadal kind of endorse that mentality, and they are at around the same level as Djokovic. So it's different for everyone. Not to mention our environment/upbringing is also something that shapes our mind subconsciously, something that is not in our control. It's a very complicated thing.
@ProverbsofPsalms
@ProverbsofPsalms Час назад
What Djokovic is saying is correct 💯. Do you think Federer and Nadal are always in a happy place? Every second, all the time? Like Novak said, it's the ability to bounce back and not get stuck. As long as you're human your emotions will fluctuate. Just don't get stuck when you're at the bottom. That is what requires training because it's not a human's natural state due to the environment/ upbringing etc.
@Omkar529
@Omkar529 56 минут назад
@@ProverbsofPsalms I guess they're not in a happy place all the time, but they don't have the regular outbursts that Novak does, they don't show as much negative emotions on the court.
