► If you are new to this type of audio brainwave entrainment, find out how isochronic tones work and how they compare to binaural beats here: www.mindamend.c....
This session contains a 'heavy rain' background track combined with Isochronic Tones. The same session is also available with a forest sounds background, and with just the Isochronic Tones on their own, via the link above.
This session speeds up the brain up by ramping up and stimulating the 20hz Beta frequency. The resulting effects help to increase your focus, attention, emotional stability and more.
Research indicates it may also be of use for depression, ADD and a number of other problems.
Headphones?
Headphones are not required for this particular session, as long as you can clearly hear the Isochronic Tones behind the music track. But, if you can use headphones, I always recommend it. When you use headphones it helps to block out any peripheral sound in the room, and I personally find the entrainment experience to be more powerful when using them.

Hi TheDevildriver411, this isochronic tones track is designed to speed up your brain, and enter a higher frequency range associated with increased focus, and give your brain a good workout. I would expect your reflexes to be better if you're in a higher state of focus. As to whether it will increase your reflexes exponentially as you put it, that's hard to quantify, as I haven't seen much research in that area yet. If you can train your brain over time to enter these high focused states, during situations when you need your reflexes to be fast, your brain will start to associate that brain state with that type of activity. Jason

John Bator Sounds like you had a bit of Neo (Matrix) style experience there. I haven't had that sort of feedback before. I can only guess that when it increased the frequency of your brainwaves, this made you feel like you were processing information faster, creating the illusion of slower time.

Darshan Patel - this will work for a while after you've stopped listening. The timescale will vary from person to person and be influenced by what you do afterwards. If you continue to study afterwards, I would expect the effect to last longer. You might want to also give this one a try: Increase Concentration With Study Focus Pulsating Synth (Isochronic Tones)

Hi Josh, I don't use that type of program to produce this music. I use something called MindWorkStation, which is specifically for creating Isochronic Tones and brainwave entrainment. This starts at 10Hz, then ramps up to 20Hz by the 6 minute mark, stays there for 10 minutes, then ramps down to 15Hz. Jason

+Zelig Walker - Hi Zelig, you'll see in the video description that I don't recommend using this while under the effects of alcohol. The main reason being that it hasn't been formally tested under those conditions, so I can't say for sure how you would react to it.

Can this be used as a treatment for ADHD and autism? Or any other negative mental illness like depression and negative thought patterns?
@MindAmend
@MindAmend 7 лет назад
This technology can be used to provide relief for some mental conditions, although there isn't a huge amount of research in that area yet. I have a track for ADHD here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RKao2oZZPnw.html. I haven't come across any research relating to this technology and autism yet. Depression can be tricky, because many people may benefit from listening to a higher frequency of tone/beat, like the ones used in this Mental Workout track. But if the individual also experiences anxiety with the depression, which is not uncommon, listening to a higher frequency may not help the anxiety symptoms. So for depression, I recommend trying a mid-range frequency session: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HGTvBbrEwZQ.html.

Hi Shavonne, I'm sorry to hear you got a headache listening to this. :( Some people can feel tension in the brain, if they are not used to listening to these types of higher frequency Isochronic Tones. One cause can also be if you're a bit dehydrated, so it's worth drinking a glass of water before listening to the higher Beta/Gamma frequencies. I hope this helps. Jason :)

I don't usually comment on these videos, but I have recently discovered the power our subconscious mind holds. I just listened to this to try it and give my mind a "mental workout" and see what happens. I was laying down when listening to it and fell asleep. I woke up two hours later sweating, my heart beating fast and breathing very heavy and rapid. Knowing that the subconscious controls these things, I am convinced this was a simple example of how these sounds can impact your mind. Good stuff. Keep it up.

I have a question, after listening to these on and off for a little while, I've been having strange dreams. Strange as in different, they normally don't have much meaning, but recently my dreams reflect very clearly events/questions I'm posing to myself in my life. It's been a bit heavy on me to be honest, haha. Could it possibly be because of these isochronic tone videos that I'm having these types of dreams?
@MindAmend
@MindAmend 10 лет назад
Hi Michael, this frequency range is not something I would normally expect to influence your dreams. I haven't had any similar feedback to yours for this track. We are still learning more about the brain with each day, so anything is possible, but I would be surprised if it was this music that was doing it.

Hi Jason, Do you have a track that would stimulate my emotional side of the brain? Sometimes I feel like just a robot with no emotions at all. (Some examples are in goodbyes, and during motivational/life inspiring situations where everybody is crying but me)
@MindAmend
@MindAmend 10 лет назад
Hi Victor, that's an interesting suggestion, as I usually get asked about reducing the emotional side. I don't currently have any tracks that I know would do that. Technically, it may help to stimulate the right brain, which has some association with the emotional side, but I haven't seen any research for this type of thing.

Hi, for more detailed info on Isochronic Tones and brainwave entrainment, see the 'How It Works' area on my website. The tones in this video elevate your brainwaves to a higher than normal level, for a short period of time. It's good if your brain is feeling a bit foggy and you're finding it hard to concentrate. If you want to increase your focus while doing something mentally taxing, this could help with that. It can also help to bring you up, if you're feeling a little low. Jason

Is there a recommended frequency of how many times a day you should or should not listen to this?
@MindAmend
@MindAmend 10 лет назад
Nolan Davis Hi Nolan, there isn't an exact recommendation I can give you, as people do respond to it differently and some will use it more than others. I usually recommend starting off at no more than once a day, for all of my tracks, so that you can get used to the stimulation and see how you react to it. Then if you feel you want more, you can gradually increase how often you listen to it.
@nolandavis385
@nolandavis385 10 лет назад
Thanks Jason. I find them very stimulating and listen to 4 to 6 times a day. Do you know if there are any negative effect to listening to them too much?
@MindAmend
@MindAmend 10 лет назад
Nolan Davis Hi Nolan, some people are fine with listening multiple times a day. I do that myself sometimes and have had lots of people tell me they do they same with good results. But because I also get the occasional person tell me they've got a headache after one listen, I don't like to publicly recommend people jump and do long sessions from the start. The most likely negative effect from over doing it, it may make you feel a bit groggy and mentally drained for a while afterwards, or getting a headache. Drinking plenty of water also helps.

@teaonabag
@teaonabag 10 лет назад
Hi, Jason, I had this though about the difference in headphones. Since they're useful for the experience, I was thinking, that does extra bass, or treble cannons make much of a difference? Sure, the frequency should be 20-20k to get the full range, right, but would these things factor in a major way, if it comes to these sounds?
@MindAmend
@MindAmend 10 лет назад
For my own preference I do prefer to use the over ear headphones with a good bass sound, as I find I can get into the experience more and block out external distraction. When I'm out and about, I do also use earphones with my iPod or phone and enjoy that too, but I prefer the deeper sound from headphones. The frequency range of the headphones usually relates to the pitch, so that won't affect the brainwave stimulation. With isochronic tones the frequency quoted relates to the 'cycles per second' of the beat, which is why you can hear them under 20Hz. Most of my tracks have a pitch frequency in 180-200Hz range, which should be well within the range of standard headphones. I'd say the main benefit from using better quality headphones, is similar to that of listening to normal music, it just sounds better. So although it probably won't affect the brainwave stimulation part that much, if you upgrade your headphones, you may find you enjoy the sound more, which all works towards a more positive experience and outcome.

@MindAmend

I can't speak for anyone with videos opening portals for demonic interferences but I can say this is nothing like that. This video contains isochronic tones which are a brain stimulation method known as brainwave entrainment. @HappyFaceMad
@HappyFaceMad 9 лет назад
To all those who think iso-chronic tones are based off of the placebo effect; well, it's (most likely) not. While I was studying with one of these one day (not this one), I noticed that I was suddenly NOT learning anything at all. It was like my brain was just sputtering and forcing a shutdown. After a while of failed learning attempts, I figured I just burned out and should study at a later period so I turned on my Ipod to turn off the track. To my surprise, my concentration tone had switched to an iso-chronic tone made for sleep! I'd say millions of people can't be wrong, but the world IS round. So instead, try this test instead and prove it yourself.

Hi, your eyes can be open or closed listening to this and you don't have to enter any meditative state. You can listen to it while you're working, to put you in a good focused state when you need it. If you get distracted by music while working, listen to it just prior to your work. This advice will be pretty similar for most focus and intelligence type tracks. Jason

Are these safe for children ages 9 & 13? Both are dealing with stress and anxiety. Oldest has recently been diagnosed with depression, has difficulty sleeping, all of which is affecting school. Which would you recommend? Many thanks from their concerned aunt.
@MindAmend
@MindAmend 10 лет назад
Hi, yes this technology is safe for children. My sons are 11 and 13 and they've been listening to this technology for a few years now. With stress and anxiety, you'll usually find that the dominant brainwave frequencies will be high in the brain. In that situation you can benefit from listening to a lower frequency range, to bring the level down. This Stress Relief track could be a good one to try: Stress Relief Underwater Sounds with Whales - Isochronic Tones. Often though, as you've indicated about your eldest, sometimes anxiety and stress is combined with depression. Depression is usually characterized with a higher than normal amount of lower frequencies in the brain. In that case, you wouldn't really want to listen to a lower frequency range, as that might not help. So the one I'd recommend for your eldest would be this SMR (Sensorimotor Rhythm) track: Sensorimotor Rhythm (SMR) Mental Training For Insomniacs -Isochornic Tones. It's quite a versatile and widely used frequency range of between 12-15Hz. It should be useful for all the conditions you mentioned, because it falls in the middle and will help to provide some balance. So try it for both children. It will help lower elevated brainwave frequency levels caused by stress, but also help to raise lower frequencies if your son is experiencing depression. As the title suggests, it's also good as a sleep trainer. Insomniacs often have low levels of this frequency range, so increasing it during the day can help with that. The following track can also be used at bedtime to help with getting to sleep: Sleep Induction Music - Isochronic Tones With Heart Of Lakes. I hope that helps you and your sons in some way. Jason

After listening to this I was in a mental haze. After an hour or so I started to come out of it and found myself at the computer on my paypal and I could see that I had just made a several hundred dollar donation to a "jasonlewis foundation"? WHAT!? is this some kind of subliminal messaging? Just kidding lol. I've only been listenting for 5 mins or so. I'm very pessimistic so placebos dont rly work on me but I can see how this helps your focus. Its like its slowly escalating the stimulation of your "fight or flight" response. But instead of getting it in one big burst its gradually increases like there is a steadily approaching danger but its still not imminent. I just wonder how long it will work? A week? A month? How long have you been using it? Is it still working as well?
@MindAmend
@MindAmend 10 лет назад
Ha, ha, if I really could influence you with subliminal messaging to hand over your cash, I'd be charging a lot more than $4 for the main product. ;) As far as how long it works in the long term, that is still to a large extend unknown. The main use of this technology so far has been for short term use. Lower frequency sessions can be used to reduce stress, improve meditation and help induce sleep. Higher frequencies can be used to increase energy and motivation, and also in the case of this track, stimulate your brainwaves to a frequency range associated with increased levels of focus and attention. It's a potential alternative to taking the various drugs on the market, or doing other types of brain training type exercises. So for this session I'd use it while you are trying to focus on a particular task or just before it, so that your brainwaves are functioning in that area associated with good focus and attention. Studies have been done on brainwave entrainment where college students have been tested after a few weeks of listening and their results compared favourably to others in the test group. There's been limited longer term studies so far. I consider it in a similar way to physical fitness and exercise. You wouldn't expect to stay fit forever if you went to the gym once, or even for a month solid, but you would expect to get fitter in the short term, and feel better for it. Instead of taking some pill, a drug or caffeine to speed up your brain, try listening to some isochronic tones. I've been using brainwave entrainment in various ways for 7 or 8 years now. Jason

do i have to listen at full volume to get the best results ? i have headphones and when i listen full volume i cant even imagine listening to this for 20 minutes its quite irritating . other question .. does this have any side effects ?
@MindAmend
@MindAmend 10 лет назад
Hi Anton, just adjust the volume to a level you feel comfortable with; you don't have to have it on full volume for it to be effective. It can sound irritating, weird, annoying; all those things when you first hear this type of repetitive sound. I used to think similarly when I first heard this type of thing. It doesn't take long to get into it though and actually start enjoying the sound, and especially the feeling it gives you when you can start to feel your brain being stimulated and reacting to the sound. There are no long term side effects associated with brainwave entrainment that I've ever heard off. I certainly wouldn't use it myself, or post videos on here if I even remotely thought anything like that could happen. There's lots of information about brainwave entrainment online, so I would encourage you to research that for yourself and not just take my word for it. Short-term wise a small number of people sometimes report getting a headache when they first listen to it, which usually dissipates quickly after they stop listening. Sometimes this may be caused by listening to it too loudly, just like any other loud music may cause a headache. Or it may be that they were already a bit dehydrated before listening. Most of the time when a headache is reported it's by people who are new to this type of stimulation, as it can take a little getting used to at first. Headaches are definitely not something you should expect to get, as most people don't get one from it. I've never had a headache from listening to brainwave entrainment. I just wanted to be as transparent as I can be. That's really the main 'potential' side effect if you want to call it one. This track is designed to stimulate your brainwaves to a higher alert state. So don't listen to it just before bedtime, as it may keep you awake.

I appreciate you looking out for Transparent Corp, but I can assure you I'm not ripping anyone off. I've been a member of Transparent Corp's Commercial Network (TCN) for many years, and have full commercial rights to distribute and sell the music I create with their software. I purchased the commercial licence of MindWorkstation on the day it was first launched in 2008. I'm a huge fan of theirs, and have every product they sell, and also attended their live training on brainwave entrainment recently. There may be people on RU-vid distributing music tracks created with their sofware, without the rights to do it, but I'm certainly not one of them.

@MindAmend

Study Focus for general studying. Cognition Enhancer if you have ADD/ADHD, and Mental Workout if you are looking for a more intense focus, as it uses higher frequencies.

Hi... I have a type of writer's block that looks like ADD (which I don't truly have), the result of unnecessary online distractions. Can this video help best, or another?
@MindAmend
@MindAmend 8 лет назад
+Jiitenko Son I haven't heard of any research using this type of stimulation for writer's block, so what I'm suggesting is going to be experimental. My Cognition Enhancer track is likely to be more effective than this one, because that one uses beta frequencies for focus, but also some alpha to help relax you. Sometimes writers block happens because you are over thinking/focusing, and that track will help produce a more relaxed focus, compared to this Mental Workout one which is a bit more intense. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KNuoGeD9Qeo.html. Alternatively, my Creative Focus tracks are worth a try. They cycle between theta, alpha and beta frequencies, so your brain doesn't stick on one level for too long, which might help you get out of a rut and move forward. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-D66hlu3ueCc.html and ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-td8_rMeAHdU.html.

Am I able to get blank tracks, where it is just the isochronic tones so i can overlay my own music? Is there any kind of music not recommended for these? tracks that will disrupt or negate the effects? Thanks :)
@MindAmend
@MindAmend 10 лет назад
Nikki Bikki Hi Nikki, I sell a 'just tones' version of all my brainwave entrainment tracks on my website. Here's the page for this track: www.mindamend.com/shop/intelligence-and-brain-power/mental-workout-isochronic-tones/. You'll see a drop down menu to choose the background sound option, and the 'Just Tones (no soundtrack)' option is listed in there. It's best to use music with very little or no breaks, pauses, stops and starts in the sound.

Hello Jason, I´m sry for my terrible english but I have a question about binaural beats. Is it possible to do other things during I hear this track or other tracks in binaural beats? Thanks for Answer
@MindAmend
@MindAmend 10 лет назад
Hi Philipp, your English is ok. I should just point out that I've used isochronic tones here, not binaural beats. They sound similar, but isochronic tones are the newer technology and they produce a stronger brainwave stimulation. To answer your question, with a track like this one, which stimulates you to a higher frequency range, you can just sit and listen to it, or do other things at the same time. With tracks that try to relax you, for things like anxiety, stress relief and meditation etc., those ones are best listened to in a quiet place with your eyes closed. I hope that helps, Jason

@MindAmend
@MindAmend 10 лет назад
TheZhamilia We are all wired a little differently and don't react to everything the same way. If this one has made you feel that way, it could be that the frequency range is a little high for you. I would give these other tracks with lower frequencies a go and see how you respond to them: Cognition Enhancer For Clearer and Faster Thinking - Isochronic Tones and Increase Concentration With Study Focus Pulsating Synth (Isochronic Tones)
