This is so powerful, and I think it's really valuable for kids as well. I wonder if I could use this video in a lesson that I'm writing for 4th-12th grade students taking my e-learning courses that focus on their dreams for their futures, taking steps towards those goals, and connecting with local and global experts in their interest areas. The particular lesson I'd like to use this in, is a lesson about interviewing those field experts. Thank you in advance for your response.

@@ConorNeill Thank you!!! I think it's important for kids to know they can start connecting with people further down the road they are interested in traveling, and they need to take the initiative to get from where they are to where they want to be. It's been very empowering, and I can't wait to see the mentee video when you create it! Keep up the great work!

Conor, I found your information very insightful. I started a program named “Neuropsychology of Self Discipline” which speaks on the importance of a mentor. The author noted different types of mentors and being clear on what one hopes to gain from a mentor. Your descriptions clarified what category of mentor fits the desired outcome one is trying to achieve. Thanks

Hey Conor, I was one who asked in one of your previous videos how to find a mentor. Thank you very much for this video. I realized that perhaps I don't need the idealised kind of mentor I was imagining, and that perhaps I already have mentors in books, youtube channels and even movie characters! Thanks again!

Incredible video Conor! Having a mentor is a great choice, as long as you're ready to commit! This inspired me to create a video on business mentoring on my channel. Whats your favorite role, the mentee or the mentor?

Great quality content, thanks a lot Conor! This one is an eye opener: Against common perception, asking directly to someone to be your mentor may trigger an alarm to signal lack of reediness, or worst (?). While working for someone you admire, you are motivated and have better chances to be "scouted" by someone willing to dedicate you time. What if you are working at your best, getting things done but still the mentor doesn't appear, can this mean you are in the wrong place? What are your thoughts?
