Very chill, talkative, and down to earth black metal musician, it is so refreshing. Good job, you asked him very interesting questions, and I liked the alchemy and mutual respect between you two (he really putted some effort and honesty in his responses , and you gave him enough space to express him-self without interrupting him). Thanks for this great interview, :)

@@RautaMetal I need to be a little more observant. I like what he said about classical music. I say similar things. I get that way with black metal too. When a band sings in a foreign tongue but I still get amazing feelings just with how it sounds even though I don't understand the lyrics. People ask me how I can listen to something that I can't understand. I tell them I would rather listen to something that I can't understand the lyrics but is superior in art and sound than listen to something that sounds like shit and has a shit message but I can understand every word.

Jerry! You have a phonecall! It's your mom! haha just joking Seriously. Its difficult by younger bands to break through, but larger bands they try. Look at Marduk how they went taking Doodswens on tour. More bands should be like that. Like Belphegor and Dark Funeral
@RautaMetal

I’m kinda upset, that they aren’t Satanists.
@RautaMetal
@RautaMetal 4 года назад
Why?
@Mephorashband
@Mephorashband 4 года назад
Satanism today is in a lot of ways just another dogma, just like any religion. We decided to not limit ourself to any "belief-system", and instead keep an open mind to find wisdom and illumination through everything. We use whatever tools we seem fitting to achieve our goals and reach further enlightenment. The best way to describe us would be occultists, but as I've stated before: to label something, is to limit it, and limiting yourself goes against the very nature of striving to become your own god and creator of your own reality.
@RautaMetal
@RautaMetal 4 года назад
@@Mephorashband Very well answered. Thanks!
@MultiZoXx
@MultiZoXx 4 года назад
@@Mephorashband Maybe I misunderstood some of the answers. Since your lyrics are very occult ''Satanic'' based. I thought that since you said, that you don´t limit yourselves to any type of dogma. To me it sounded like you just write what you write, but you don´t live or believe in it. I fully understand and support your way of thinking. Focusing on one thing and one thing only will just stagnate you, and you wont progress in any shape or form. Even Satanists need to have an open mind :p. I love your music and Hails!
@Mephorashband
@Mephorashband 4 года назад
@@MultiZoXx yes, you indeed misunderstood. It's the total opposite of what you said, we are extremely dedicated and devoted to what we do and to the concepts we sing about. We don't write just for the sake of writing. Every word, note and beat of the drum is carefully thought out and poured from our soul. The point I was trying to make is like I wrote previously: We try to build our own world of the esoteric. Instead of falling in line behind rules on what you should and shouldn't do under the flag of satanism, we build our own reality. I don't want to label it, because it would only lower the value of what we do. We use whatever tools we come across, whether it be from Devil worship, Vodoo, Vāmācāra, the Qliphoth and so forth. We don't want to zone in to some narrow path of only one thing, instead we use all the tools at our disposal to reach the thing we truly believe in and that we ourselves create. To gain gnosis, to gain wisdom and to ascend from this reality, to a higher one. We will do whatever it takes to reach what we strive for, and we won't let the boundaries of humanity or the common perception of our reality limit us.
