I was comparing Yesoul, Yosuda, and Merach. I went with the Merach based on this review since I also use my bike with Zwift. The bluetooth died on my first bike and I couldn't get it fixed. I tried the Wahoo cadence sensor and couldn't get it to work even though it's supposed to. I got the Merach today and it's GREAT! Incredibly SMOOTH and a sleek, simple design. The seat is hard but I have a gel pad. One tip for assembly---Attach the handlebars to the post FIRST and then insert it into the bike frame. There are 3 bolts that can easily fall into the handlebar post while you're trying to screw them in. GREAT BIKE, Tim! Thanks for the review!
Thanks for the review. They really should be paying you. You hit all the points someone would want to know about this bike before purchase. I have to say your review is what has me onboard with purchasing this bike. Well, that and the price. I like that they have features others make you pay for.
@@RunTall I also bought this bike on your recommendation. I inherited a nice riding Lemond Revmaster from my dad a few years ago but I can't use it for Kinomaps or Fulgaz because there's no room between the flywheel and arn for a speed sensor!
Hello, thanks for your great video how long does the battery lasts in regards to Bluetooth usage please? I guess for heart rate etc would it be easy to connect our smart watch to the bike such as Fitbit e.g.?
Hey Tim! Is it my imagination or is Zwift controlling this bike??!!! I had a different bike before and even though it connected as "controllable" it wasn't. BUT I'm using the Merach today with Zwift and I swear this thing is changing resistance! Not a lot but IS IT???? I'm not used to the Merach yet of course, it's my FIRST Zwift ride with it. Am I imagining things? I'm lovin' this bike BTW.
I’m not sure on the differences between those two models. And yes, I love this bike. I try to ride my mountain bike outdoors whenever possible but when I’m indoors, this is my first choice. Have a great day!
@@RunTall I ordered one last night and will do a clipless setup, I’m so excited about the bike , got it for $199 and the price went up today at $299 , thanks again
Not sure if you can answer this, or perhaps a viewer can. If I buy 2 of these and plan to use them side by side with my wife, will the bluetooth get confused and try to find the other bike or would the bluetooth isolate to the designated bike? I'd like for one bluetooth setup for the black bike and a second connectivity for a white model. Make sense?
Hi Bo. Mine connected quickly. When I opened Zwift and went to pairing, once I started peddling it came up for me to connect to. It paired up really quick for me. Sorry if you are having trouble connecting.
You don't need any particular option with Zwift, just the bluetooth connection. You should be able to see watts, speed, and rpms. You won't get the automatic resistance change which I prefer! It's hard enough mentally to see my speed slow down to 3 mph on a steep climb!
Merach blue tooth only connected once with the zwift app i was hooked , after my next and 3rd session never connected to zwift only the merach app . Is there a way to connect it back or reset the bluetooth someway?
Oh boy. Sorry to hear that you are having issues connecting to Zwift via bluetooth. When you log into Zwift and search for speed sensor, it should find it. You can try disconnecting any other sensor that might be connected to Zwift. Maybe pull the batteries out of the Merach sensor and put them back in again or replace them if they are dead. I hope this helps. Have a great day. Happy Holidays. Have a great day and stay safe.
Hey thanks. I'm still loving this bike. I've been using it to help me in my current training block. It's doing great! Have a great weekend. Thanks for all of your support.
Hey thanks for the question. I don't have the Peloton app to be able to test it out. Sorry I couldn't help with that. It does work well with Kinomap and Zwift for sure. Have a great weekend.
