I’m a die hard LandCruiser Guy. Had 3 of em. So my son wanted to rent a G-Wag for his 21st Birthday….so we did…and MAN THAT THING WAS FUN TO DRIVE! I’m a BIG FAN!
I love the way you start this video. I also appreciate where you think this 577 HP machine is lacking, given the price point. I live in MA, about 45 mins north of Boston on the seacoast. Yes, if you drove Interstate 95, I'd want a ride. Something tells me that if I was hitchhiking, NO AMG G63 would bother to stop. LOL. Seriously, I've always been a fan of your professional reviews. Your reviews are beyond "Commercial" (as in TV Commercial) quality. I bet you could easily sell a Vintage fire chief peddle car. You're not old enough to remember those, nor am I. However, I still wanted one when I learned to walk. I'm guessing when you learned to walk, you sat on phonebooks and tried to drive your parent's Land Rover. 😎
Love the Gwagon…V8…. old school key lock and unlock…simply wonderful. Don’t see that today in any new models Mercedes bringing in these days. Wonderful machine.
@@SATRRIAA You have to press the button to make a signal to the car. Newest keys have constant signal towards the car, auto unlock at 5 meters. Criminals make the signal stronger to unlock the car from 20 meters.
Jeep Rubicon - cheapest rock-climber. Range Rover - status symbol. G Wagon - for uniqueness. Caddy Escalade V sport - immeasurable horsepower. 👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇 Toyota Landcruiser - for driving over 50k miles minus the mechanical headaches. 😉
@@zackoparis7918 These almost never see anything but pavement. Also, given how expensive other repairs are - and how wealthy the owners are - that's a poor excuse. Wrap those areas in leather, or some other soft touch material. It's a simple fix for Mercedes.
When you need the best 4×4 for Wasaga beach in July and Mont Tremblant in January you don't want a Rubicon with no class. G-wagon is for business class wives to run around downtown and not to get scratched up with branches. But it's still cheaper than a condo in the marina downtown so I'd skip the condo for the G- wagon
Ya think they're expensive in Canada, try buying one here in New Zealand. Then you'll know what expensive is. Nice vehicle. Would like to know how well three people would fit across the back seat. Our daughter (now a teen) isn't exactly small (she's big boned, eats like a horse) Our two boys aren't exactly short either.
wonderful introducing ! and do you know what is the G63 performance package included in the configuration list , code is PT2 , USD3700.00. What is this special things ?
My '22 Defender doesn't guide you back into the lane either. It just vibrates the steering wheel a bit. I guess that's their way of giving people freedom to decide if they want to take their own lives? lol
While this is a "poset's car'... It is still a very practical SUV because of its busy shape out back.. Which m which IS the idea for a true SUV.. Too many brands have sloped the rear window too far forward sacrificing space... The original idea behind buying aDuv was to get maximum carry vertical space with high ground clearance
Dang .. I actually live near the factory here in Austria and work in automotive at a company doing development with and for Mercedes G .. I can't believe how much less this car costs in the US compared to its birthplace.
@@WideAwakeHuman G63 is about 320-330k usd. We have to pay crazy high taxes due to the European Green Madness 🤮 Last time I checked the tax on the car was at least 80k.
