Also, this thing regarding Lewis "wasting" his last years with Mercedes, that's a bit of a stretch. All F1 drivers will have to drive some bad cars at a certain point in their career, some for a longer time than others. Hamilton has been blessed from this point of view, more than half of his career he drove championship winning cars.

It's a total waste of talent.... Mercedes have just been playing games with top grid drivers ....This team will be a mid table team by 2026

“All drivers will have to drive bad cars” For how long should the HAVE to drive a bad car? This so stupid on many levels because not all drivers are on the same level and skill.
@madalinbpopa
@madalinbpopa 26 дней назад
@@KushMyCologneee in his whole career Hamilton had a bad car for half a season in 2009 and this season, the rest have been either title winning cars or at the least cars which finished top3 in constructors. So if my comment is stupid, please explain to me why Alonso has been driving tractors for the past 10 years? Isn't he a good enough driver? Please, enlighten me Einstein.

@@madalinbpopa Younfail to realize the reason why the faster teams chose him as their driver is because they saw the skill and a champion Lewis. If you must blame someone for Lewis awesome driving ability blame God(If you believe in one). Take it up with God.

@@madalinbpopathe reason Fernando has been driving tractors has nothing to do with what he does inside the car but everything to do with what he does outside of it. Before his rabid fanbase descend on my comment, I genuinely believe he is just as talented as a driver as Hamilton and Verstappen (top 3 drivers on the grid at the moment IMO) and has the ability to optimise the machinery he’s given better than pretty much anyone but it takes way more to be a complete F1 driver than that. For whatever reason Fernando hasn’t always gelled with his team management or indeed engine supplier (the examples in multiple teams are well documented). Although a skilled politician, I don’t believe he builds and fosters a strong winning team spirit with his coworkers trackside or back at the factory as some of his rivals (for anyone who doesn’t understand the criticality of that then they miss the essence of what drives success in an F1 team - Schumacher, Vettel, Hamilton and Verstappen have that quality in spades). What is undeniable however is Fernandos raw talent and longevity ie: the ability to come back year after year for the best part of 20 seasons and compete at the highest level (supreme mental strength) and in that respect I see him and Hamilton standing alone.

If you're Mercedes, how do you know who is key and who is not? For three years they've thrown their "key" people at the problems they're having. So far they went backward, forwards a little, backwards to now not knowing.

All the while Andretti is still being locked out, which I find strange as the more different teams there are fielding cars the better the competition should be. Time for some new blood in the mix I think. I like your points that you have been making, Cameron. You have been access to the tech personnel info than we do here in the US, and I am envious of your proximity to the majority of the F1 races. However, with the internet being what it is, there is a reasonable flow of decent information, but it just isn’t the same. Looking forward to your next upload, buddy. I still think you’d make a better commentator that what F1 puts on TV during the races, but whatever. I just have a similar sense of humor and totally enjoy listening to you when something breaks you off and you go spinning into orbit about it. No offense, it is part of what makes you compelling to listen to, buddy. 👍🏻

Toto lost me when he wasn't willing to back Lewis, but he was willing to go after Max and Kimi like a damn dog in heat. It's total disrespect, Hamilton literally made Toto a billionaire, that's a fact. If Lewis doesn't join Mercedes, Toto isn't a billionaire, because people like Mercedes because of Lewis and Toto is realizing that once Lewis goes to Ferrari, Mercedes is over, they'll be a mid field team with no star driver. Toto wasted three years of Hamilton's career by being arrogant and not listening to his friend who has won this team more championships than any other driver. At the end of the day, the buck stops with Toto Wolff.

Let’s be honest the only reason Mercedes dominated is because they had a PU advantage. If you look at the aero side you could clearly see red bull was always ahead. As soon us Honda made a good engine you saw what red bull did. The proof is in front of us because this are more aero focused regulation and red bull is just superior and always has been. Operationally redbull has been always top notch. Coming from a Ferrari fan “when you watch a team operating like they do,you just have to appreciate it “

Cam coming in hot like Vinny Jones, studs forward... 😂 Look mate, I said it plenty of times before, Toto isn't a great leader, he is a selfish business man. He made a fortune becoming part owner of the team, every soul in that company knows that, but is that fair? Isn't that a big crime since the success that made those stocks so valuable comes from the collective and can in no way be contributed to him alone, not even to him for a big part cause so many factors play a role in such success. All those engineers, Ross and Michael that started together at Mercedes before the succes came, they all contributed massively to what Mercedes became and is now. But did any of them get a billion? Or lets say even 'just' 10 million? No they did not. They probably earn well, but not close to what Toto made out of this and that is in the back of peoples head. And when he then shows he isnt capable at all to lead, cause all he ever had to do was to keep the ship going in the direction it was, that does something within your organization, then people start to get bothered by the fact that he got so rich out of it. And put on top of that that Lewis feels like he has played his part in the 8 years of success and then doesnt get the ambassador role and the long term deal and you have bad karma all trough your organization. Energetically your company gets affected by that and he isnt aware of it at all. I can imagine Lewis got a bit hurt by that, so much success together yet you walk away with a billion and I cant get my honorable exit? Horner does that much better, he already planned ahead for the departure of Newey and manages to keep things going even now, and he is well aware that there will be more changes coming, but I am sure he will do better and Red Bull will not going down the same slope Mercedes is going down now. And you know what all this means? Not to toot my own horn but my predictions are becoming reality more and more, Mercedes isnt part of F1's future, they never were a team in F1, just engine supplier and without the success their interest will fade, so I will stick to my predictions that they will leave F1 and become just a engine partner. When I dont know. And my other predictions are already happening in front of our eyes, Ferrari and Mclaren will reignite their rivalry and will become the teams fighting for the wins in the near future, this year will probably still be Max' year, but next year we already could see the beginning of the switch to Mclaren vs Ferrari, which will erupt from 2026 on wards, potentially with Aston as well, but that depends on what the role of Stroll will be and their partnership will Honda wil go. And what about Max? Well, no more Red Bull from 2026, not 100% sure where he will go, still not convinced Merc stands a chance, thats why I also predict their exit, but Mclaren and Aston are two reasonable options, and if Charles doesnt deliver the next 1,5 year I would dare to say Max and Lewis at Ferrari could even be a option, although I have to admit that last prediction might be more of a wishfull thinking one... 😉

Mercedes under Toto is finished, because he demonstrably can't lead the team to success after a regulation change. He failed in his leadership of Mercedes into the new regulations regime, and continues to fail as time marches forward. Toto bought into the team right before the 2014 regulation change, for which the team was set up successfully by Brawn, Lauda and Fry. Toto just took the dividends from the hard work and investments made by those three in 2014-21. He is NOT a good leader.

I gave up on Toto a few weeks back convinced he is nowhere near the caliber of team boss as Horner, Vasseur, Zak Brown and perhaps others. He is a benefactor of a top powerplant that was what Mercedes pushed for after developing it, a top set of drivers and decent aero package that required sone level of fortune to get a winning chassis package. He runs his mouth allot and is playing politician these days and trying to become a billionaire taking his focus off his internal team efforts and activity and instead too much on outside the team. Mistakes happen and his inability to fix them is an issue, he also went outside the gentleman’s agreement he and Lewis had about contract discussions while not working with Lewis and the techies on the car and gets shocked by Lewis leaving to Ferrari soon after finishing a deal about a year late and now working on damage control trying to sign anything big namely Max while not having the crown jewelry of a chassis and without a cohesive team of technical people that currently seem to work fragmented.

Max is a special talent but he did have a few incidents in his first couple of years . Also there must be a few lawsuit coming from drivers that could have come to f1 in that period when they have a age restriction. I am happy with the age limit, max wasn't mature but super talented, imagine a bunch of immature 16 and 17 year olds with money backing interfering with championship competition, just one crash and take out the leader and it could be championship over for that driver
