How can i update the program on the my 2018 AMD C63s to accept the AUX feature to work, instead of using the USB way, as im sure ill lose sound quality.... what do you think??? Any clue as to why when using the indicator it switches to the MB-Screen rather than staying on Car-Play? Quite annoying... especially when using Google-Maps...

For anyone having issues with the carplay not connecting sometimes just go to the tablet SETTINGS -> Wifi and connections -> hotspot -> Make sure it's active and on 2.4 ghz. sometimes it's not working in 5 ghz and that's why it does not connect.
Great video! I have similar Android screen. Everything works perfect, except phone calls. I can listen spotify with Android Auto, but when I answer a call I can't hear anybody, but everyone hear me. I don't have any idea where the problem is.

I have tried this Android unit and I had to take it out again. The no. 1 reason is that the OEM microphone of the car is not used but a tiny small microphone on the right side of the unit. No way to use handsfree with this unit. Also, Carplay (Zlink app) keeps crashing or BT is not connecting. I have not found any Android unit that uses the car's OEM microphone and I will never put anything without it.
Hi I've fitted the new head unit all working great except the factory reversing camera doesn't display unless in ntg mode, is this a simple setting issue. Thanks Loz
U will have to use a Video Camera cable thats yellow from the OEM radio port (green in colour) to transfer camera video (CV- AND CA+) to the top Andriod Camera cable Yellow too and then u are good to go

If you have to use the AUX to USB box the audio quality is horrific. I’m going to be trying an FM modulator as a work around, this is a hardwire solution, not to be confused with the fm transmitter.
Bluetooth sometimes connect to iPhone but struggles to connect. Zlink often does not connect automatically. What could be the issue? When turning vehicle off and on again Bluetooth won’t connect and Zlink won’t connect.

Hey bro. With the apps like you tube and Netflix I have no sound. Same with sometimes when playing music through car play. Seems that system doesn’t want to use volume only when on Bluetooth. Is there a system setting for this?

You haven't plugged in the sound connector - see at 6:40. Don't be confused by bluetooth working, you will note that the apple sounds (eg siri or reading text messages) don't work even though playing music may.

hello there. iv seen alooot of products online like this one, but no1 speaks about the sound quality. hows compared to the stock ones? ( i think will be the same because its not another unit, you just install it on the one you already got from factory) is that true?
Thanks for the install instructions. I just completed the installation and am having one problem. The reverse/backup camera feature doesn't work. When I put the car in reverse and the android screen is already booted up, absolutely nothing happens. I need to go to the NTG menu to see the back up camera and it works fine there. Any ideas?
@@SuperShowtimers the setting is already at oem camera so I’m not sure what the problem is or how to fix it. I do not have an aftermarket camera. I posted a video on my channel of the problem if you want to see it. Thanks..... I eventually figured out the problem. I had to make a change in the factory settings under CAN protocol from 5.0C to 5.0A.
I have problem with my w205 Mercedes-Benz. Its screen appeared “ Boot Loader Active” and could not run the operation on the screen. Then I replaced it with the Android Screen “Snapdragon 450 NTG 5.0, 8 G ram and 256 rom” but it failed to work. The sound system doesn’t work out and the When I operate the reverse gear, the camera doesn’t show the rear view and my new android screen shows “ Boot Loader Active” What shall I do to fix this.

Hello mates, I got a CLA (C117) with NTG 5 and I installed an android screen like that. All works fine but when Im using ¨the android part¨ it doesnt switch in automatic to the rear camera. The camera works perfect but I have to put the NTG mode by manual. Someboy can help me? Thanks a lot.
since a few days my phone isn’t connecting anymore with the Bluetooth so no music calls car play of any kind works now and don’t know how to fix it? at Bluetooth telephone it now says not activated i think there’s something wrong with that. also in the android settings it shows nothing at the Bluetooth setting really weird and it worked before so something must be not right?
Hello, I am from the UK and my Multimedia screen is showing black and white lines so none of the syetem which are controlled by screen are not working. but when i put it reverse gear it does show the back camera image for 3 to 4 seconds and then disappears and shows black and white lines. my car details are: C220 D bluetec, Reg 2015 in the UK. my question is if this screen got broke then how can i find the correct screen and can i change by myself by removing the plastic panel by using the plastic panel remover tool? thank you
Howcome it doesn’t have wireless android auto like the others? And it doesn’t have the direction assist (or whatever it’s called lol) on the screen when in reverse, like the others. Is this android 11 or 12?
Would like to know how it impacts sound quality on the burmester speakers when connected with usb. I never use bluetooth for playing music from my phone.
I fixed the issue, turns out I hadn't properly connected the quadlock. Stupid issue that I caused myself but worth checking if you have any issues. Now I have discovered a new issue, the sound quality is actually quite bad now. There seems to be almost no bass, as if the subwoofers are not even working. I've tried to look through all the settings but can't make it work. The sound is like this regardless of what input is selected, so I have a feeling it's something to do with the aux connection, like putting it into stereo has dropped the subs off?
I’ve installed mine, all works brilliantly apart from when I make/receive a phone call - I get no call audio at all. Do I need to install the speaker and mic that came with the screen or is there a setting to use my OEM mic/speakers instead?

Yes, it’s Canbus settings. Mine was the same. Changed Canbus and all fine. My reverse camera wasn’t coming on when using Apple Car play and this solved that issue too.
