the parking brake is not electronic, it's mechanic but you just use it in different way ( it was mainly in luxury cars but every merc from 90's had this solution)
I have read that past 1995 MB diesels are not as well built and solid like the W124s. This car would blow the doors off my 1987 300D turbo. I am getting a W124 1995 non turbo in a few weeks. This car looks pretty damn nice!
The 1998/99 E300D OM606 has the Electronic Fuel Pump...you can put an earlier OM 603 Mechanical Fuel Pump on them and dial up the HP... but the Fuel Pump internals should be upgraded to larger specs for best results. The 98/98 OM606 Turbo Diesel engines are built stronger and good for up to 500hp and beyond without any internal mods.
I have a car like that, and is a full ( because for a full you must order all the options) Mine doesn't have AMG rims because the engine is not an AMG, is like you have a BMW 5 series Diesel and you stick on the back ensign with M Power, realy ? :))) and YES, this model is a 6 piston in line and with CHIP on diesel is like you glue a high heels on sport shoes

It`s not a V6, it is inline-6, it doesn`t have 210 hp (unless it`s chipped), this is a motor from s-klasse W140 it has 177 hp. Rear lights are not from this car, it`s not a facelift and only they have them, on the trunk the letters are E320, so the trunk is also not from this car :D. Overall it`s a minor parody. And last of all it has non-working glow plugs and/or a deffect relay for the glow plugs.
True that my friend, I came to mention the same things, but you was faster :) The facelifted versions are equipped with CDI engines and these pre 2000 models are having the Bosch mechanical fuel injection system. The facelifted version is also having a different type of steering wheel and a curvier front bumper, plus in those models the automatic gearbox is the 5G-Tronic with manual shiftability.
He doesnt have Webasto, ventilated Seats, command system. And also Avantgarde version is not "the most luxury". Classic, Elegance and Avantgarde versions define only exterior look (different trims, doors handle). Elegance also has chrome doors handle. Those versions also have different suspensions. Avantgarde is the lowest one. Mercedes is the company where customer can do anything when they buy a car. He can choose Classic version with anything in the option list and with any engine or take the Avantgarde style with 2.0 petrol and material seats.
