Love this car!!! I drove one time a S400 CdI and I fell in love with it instantly....such a powerful and luxury car...and it was the first generation with "only" 250 Cv. Good test!!!
@@soundofeighthooves there is a channel Marius RBE. This car was confiscated by the state of Germany and auctioned. It has a poor history and was pretty cheap. I dont know but the guy must be suicidal to do chiptuning and highspeed driving on the motorway with a car in this state. If it would be only him, fine, but this is a danger to everyone out on the road.
There are few errors because the car is in "DYNO MODE" it means it turns every electric help off included the abs and the esp. Apart from this he needs to check the coolant level.
Nah, that old mercedes for you. I had W211, constant faults, ABS esp etc. airbags failing. Even brakes stopped working, because of the sbc-pump. What a shit car

Όποιον και μηχανικό να ρωτήσει κανείς, θα πει το ίδιο, τα αυτόματα κουτιά ταχυτήτων είναι πολύ πιο εύθραυστα από τα κανονικά (με συμπλέκτη κτλ), άρα πρέπει να τα χειριζόμαστε με ιδιαίτερη προσοχή, ΠΑΝΤΑ απαλές και αργές κινήσεις. Οπότε αυτό που θέλω να πω είναι, ότι ως λάτρης των αυτοκινήτων και συγκεκριμένα ιδιοκτήτης ενός παρόμοιου με αυτό, με "πονάει" η ψυχή μου όταν βλέπω τέτοια κακομεταχείρηση.

Torque alone has nothing to do with top speed and acceleration, torque is more about the response. Actually, HP is a product of torque and rpm, so the overall HP is more important.
Был у меня Mercedes-Benz W220 S400 cdi. Зверская паровозная тяга у него. Если топить педаль в пол в кикдаун, то страшно даже за рулем. При этом расход топлива в городе у меня выходил при активной езде порядка 11,5-12 литров на 100км. По трассе вообще видел показания на приборке 5.6 литра на 100км при 90 км/ч. При 120 км/ч расход выходил 6.9 литра на 100км с 4-мя человеками в салоне и с вещами в багажнике. Но в ремонте этот мотор очень не дешёв.

A very nice car, I had one in 2004 and there wasn’t any faster stock diesel cars at the time.. today I still drive diesel… but not V8. Happy owner of a straight 6 cylinder ! E400d with the ecu remapped… it’s very 💨 fast👌🏻💃🏻
So geil, dieser Motor. Schade dass es sowas nicht mehr gegeb wird. Den heute 2022 mit neuester Technik, Alter Verwalter. Generell neben dem 500 er der beste Motor für den W211. Schade dass der Wagen einen sehr vernachlässigten Eindruck macht. Außen wie auch innen (was die Fehlermeldungen angeht).
Super awsome,only mercedes pasionates will understand the value of this feeling,and i am one of them.I have a c220 from 2004 only 150hp but damn i felt in love with mercedes feeling str8 away.There is not much diference betwen this 150-250 hp it speeds up slowly comfortable stylish,its unique.I bless the guy who invented this cars,its a religion for me to drive mercedes
Cars like these are unfortunately often owned by people who either don't care or have the money to treat it good enough. Not to be that guy, but most of the time those people are either Turkish or Albanian
or inceddible ignorance on public roads? I drive the A7 in germany daily and just yesterday a big VW SUV was shattered by crashing in the rear of a truck... the driver died and was not faster than 150km/h so this is just stupid in any way
@@MoesKeckeEcke In that case, you should limit speeds to 120km/h because it's the safest upper limit for human reaction time. The cars performance without AI driving aides is secondary.
Nice fat Benz but I do like the 5 and 6 cilinder engines more, nicer sound I think. The same goes for Benzin, I like a straight 6 more than a V8, just personal opinion.
Rein vom subjektiven Empfinden scheint mir die Beschleunigung ziemlich zäh für den V8 Diesel. Wir hatten selber damals den S211 Sport Edition mit V6 Diesel und 224 PS. Gefühlt war der mind genauso schnell wie der V8 (wenn nicht sogar schneller im Anzug)
Service Bremse und dann damit erstmal 260 kmh fahren. Gibt schlaueres. Vorallem wenn das wie bei dem Model ganz gerne die Sbc ist trittst du bei 260 ins leere mit nur einer Notfunktion. Schnell fahren schön und gut, aber bitte auch mit technisch guten Fahrzeugen!
Wow, love that body control even at continuous high speeds all the way to 260 kmh. Was the handbrake light on? The thermometer is obviously no longer working as it shows outside temperature of 85 deg Celsius - LOL! But everything else works well, as it usually does in a Mercedes!
It sbows up brake failure, esp failure, abs, failure. Visit repair shop. So Not just handbrake. I would feel uncomfortable to drive 260kmh With a defect brakesystem.
From what it looks it's a defective ABS component, most likely ABS sensor provides false readings. So ESP, ABS and cruise control are totally disabled. Maybe he likes it!
