G55 amg in my opinion is great car I used to own one 2009 model and sold it for 2011 ml63 amg now don't get me wrong it is gorgeous car but it is just too ruff and if you are driving long distances you are going to be exhausted especially passengers on the back....rear seats you can't recline so people are seating 90deg and suspension is too stiff. It is excellent for europe (where I'm from) because everything is so close but USA distances I don't now....
@levy3poop almost 60hp/l... american cars have only started to make more than that recently and only with sports cars... so its not that bad... also, this engine is made to have torque and not hp
i love the g class like crazy, but what he said about the back seats isn't exactly true... when the front passengers put the visors down, u wont see anything through the windshield

@microsoftaddict actually you couldn't be more wrong, the toyota land cruiser has been in production for about twenty more years then the mercedes g-class. but they both copied jeep, so who really cares.

I am thinking about buying a new g55 amg and it costs 150K here and only 120K in the US. I hate our Country when it comes down to trying to make money and trying to spend money. It rapes us to pay for poor peoples healthcare. Lame.
Yup. I don't expect society to help me. Same should go around. It's not "a little extra money" its 30G. I would rather spend that on a gold Rolex submariner instead of giving it up for the tax man. @jakartans hummer went out because the tree huggers were relentless in giving it shit, and also because no one could afford the vehicle or the gas in this shit house economy. and all i said was that this car is hideous and im standing by that.
