It's simple. The people are wrong for demanding what they want, and the capitalists are more wrong for inventing more consumer demand. True progress and utopia is when the greedy capitalists didn't invent the car, or any industry whatsoever, that way we could have absolute perfection: the horse buggy and manual plow.
I remember watching a video few days ago about how HP can remotely shutdown new printer if you don’t pay some subscription fee. This whole AI & new subscription thing is killing. I prefer old machines that work, not gimmicks.
Cmon, a "Data Center on Wheels"? It's a car. It needs to safely get buyers from point A to point B, which it already does. And it can accomplish that without a state-of-the-art corporate/government survellence system, endless hardware/software vulnerabilities, and ability for third parties to exploit the data our behaviour generates for profit. But sure, FOSS is a cool PR strategy and may do something decent while a dystopia is built.
Well said. With that being said, it's still a choice we make as consumers. Companies just exploit the existing situation, consumers are the ones shaping that.
Yeahh. They talking about productivity and then using 13 inches Windows 10 machines 🤣 My advice just for free: Give then a proper machine than you will get another 20% productivity boost.
When i read the title i though it must be some kind of crazy project with Mercedes but it was just another shitty ad about copilot that Microsoft has been pushing for the past year.
Fool the developers, get open sourced work for free, Mercedes and Microsoft get billions in profits. We must stop doing free open source work, so they have to hire and pay people.
