Manufacturing footage of the Mercedes-Benz GLE (W167 and W166), Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe (C292), Mercedes-Benz GLS (X166), from the Mercedes-Benz U.S. International (MBUSI) plant in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Footage year: 2017-2022.
Ordered a ML 350 Bluetec in late 2013 and in was delivered the day after Christmas 2013. Still have it and build quality is great and has 120,000 miles, never had a warranty claim, Imthey are doing a great job.
I own a 2007 Mercedes Benz ML 320 CDI, fantastic diesel AWD, still going strong, built in the State of Georgia, over 240,000 miles. The exhaust soot is incinerated, without the need for “DEF”, and the exhaust smells like “ozone” after a thunderstorm. I get 26mpg at 70mph.v
Oh no I totally wasn't keeping an eye out to see if a Cardinal Red AMG Line with Night Package just like the one I recently picked up after ordering it a few months ago shows up in the video. I TOTALLY wasn't doing that.
@@melanatedslay it was a regular GLE350 4Matic (so not the coupe). Mine has the 20in 5 spoke AMG rims (to me those look better than the 21's with that color combo), panoramic sunroof, and macchiato beige interior with the topstitch dash. I placed my order early November and took delivery of it first week of March.
@@melanatedslay BUILD! Save yourself the extra money you would pay and build. You can save more and spec it exactly as you would want it to be. Even that extra you would have paid for one in stock you could spend that on more upgrades and get a better car overall for a better price. The wait was definitely worth it.
I bought 2008 GL450, Lots of problems. Then I bought 2013 E350 bluetec, more problems. Sold them both to car max (sorry for the new owner). At least the E350 bluetec, I recvd a letter from MB USA that I might get some money for buying their junk car.
I would rather have a Mercedes Benz made in Germany than the U.S. same with a Toyota made in japan, The Germans are like the Japanese, both know how to make cars with quality unlike Americans
Mercedes is junk anyways a lot of American brands has better reliability, and in the pick up trucks fields american brands are kicking toyota's behind.
German cars are horrible regardless of where they are built 0 reliability , it's just performance and ride quality, which is what the German cars consumers is looking for.

I have a 2013 GL450 with 107,000 miles. It is the biggest pile of junk I’ve ever owned. I parked it and disconnected the battery. It will sit there and rot. I will never buy another Mercedes Benz.
@@Nikolasto77 I bought it from a dealership last year. On the way home, running 75 mph on the interstate, it shut completely off. It does it regularly and starts back up between 30 minutes and several days. Also on the same day I bought the car, the transmission goes into “limp mode” and it does that about every few miles. Day 3 the air compressor failed. The interior fan comes on high speed randomly, even when the car isn’t running and hasn’t been for days and runs the battery down. Mercedes Benz had the car for 9 days and diagnostics found absolutely nothing wrong with it. An independent shop had it for 2 days and suggested replacement of the transmission, torque converter, fuel tank and entire fuel system at a cost of $15,000. The second day I had the car I informed the dealership that I was bringing the car back and demanding my $4,200 down payment. I was immediately notified by the Sheriffs Department that if I call the business or come on their property that I would be arrested. I called the bank and told them the problem. They said there was nothing they could do. So now I have no car(driving my old Chevy truck), I’m out $4,200 plus approximately $2,000 for repairs and diagnostics. I have a monthly car payment and insurance that is around $550 per month for the next 5 years.
@@ralphtaylor787 my goodness gracious. What an ordeal. The sheriff can not arrest you for going to the dealership. The bank should be able to do something as well. Was this a small mom and pop dealership? Sounds like you need an attorney.
@@Nikolasto77 it was a small dealership that deals in high-end cars. I tried attorneys with no luck because the contract I signed is “As-is”. I’ve called the bank several times. They don’t care. It’s really a sad and scary situation. I’m 60 years old and had spent over a year saving up the down payment. It’s sad that the laws are written the way that they are because this could happen to anyone and I’m certain that it does. I also place blame on the people that abuse cars, never ,ever do any maintenance, and then trade them in or run them through an auction. I’m at a point now where I’m most likely going to stop making the payments. Then I will be out of my savings, have no car AND have my credit screwed up.🤬
So your upset a used car has problems and that’s why you’d never get that brand again ? Let alone with that many miles if you’re really that worried about quality you should’ve gotten a brand-new one where everything was brand new and you’re the original owner and it’s under warranty. That would be like me buying a used three-year-old iPhone and then then complaining that it’s not as fast and that the battery life isn’t good on it and square number to buy another iPhone because of that.
