If you find you have a broken side view mirror glass but the overall housing is intact, you don't have to pay hundreds of dollars at the dealership to have it repaired.
You don't need to remove the cover to do this job, but in my case, the cover was loose and popped off while i was trying to remove the mirror - which worked out good for the video as it helps you see all the inner workings of the mirror.
Job difficulty : EASY

that's great! we were quoted something like 350-500 to fix it at the dealer - labor and parts basically... insane.

appreciate it - i try to do my best and make them as short as possible and to the point so not to waste people's time even if it hurts me with whatever algorithm youtube is using to rank videos.
