@@Mobileblaster just come in from sorting my door in a gale-force freezing wind. Wow, lucky me, my 2004 model has none of that wierd flexi replaceable guide runner thing so nothing to feck about with,, just keep digging and vacuuming out the sand, several nails and screws and 2 AAA batteries, no wonder prior to jamming up the door wouldn't fully open . Only downside is it's a superb rust trap so I can see why Mercs filled that step with all the plastic crap. I had a nice clear view into the sill where there once was metal. All the best mate and give yer dog a cuddle from me bless her.

Good idea I'm going to try that 👍 my old van sprinter same locked me fully out even key wouldn't work locks I got my mate that fits windows to suck the front side out was in and out in 2 minutes scary how fast folk can get into these any ways bulk head stopped me getting in van and merc kindly put all bolts on the inside haha I had to grind a hole so I could reach the door handle 😂 I make a square just behind the passenger head rest worked perfect 😂 that van nether got fixed eva 😂😂

@@Mobileblaster They'll keep selling vehicles with the known problems because then they can sell... replacement parts! I tried to buy a lock mechanism from breakers, but apparently you have to buy a whole side door! Madness.

Right to repair is slowly getting tuck away from us just look at mobile phones whats up with been able to swap a battery they don't even want you doing that. It's just how things are going 😔

A tree sounds crap but, A very talented person moved a tree inside his house and made it into a spriral staircase it was very cool and very well done my job was to remove tooling marks and bring the grain out. It was very cool that it had branches in the right place perfect steps. He also made one piece handrail very talented.

@@Mobileblaster Wow that is cool I do DB in the U.S. but 99.99% is dump truck dump beds nothing special. I have done a few hot rods for the auto paint shop across the road from me but it's a pain because they like for me to use dry ice blasting anyway you do a great job and you have a awesome channel.

Thanks it comes as a kit simply unbolt / clip and replace fairly easy job once ya find the bolts holding the step in 👌👍

Take the door card off find the wire from the handle and pull it? Or try and push the door the same time as trying to open it (from the inside)

@@neilfallon2633 you can program the key to do 1 press to unlock all or 2 press to unlock all youtube tutorials on how to do this you dont need a computer eva the bottom right I use this to unlock the rear but keep the cab locked when I'm working from the back and I leave the drone or other small valuables out of sight in the front 👍
