what a coincidence... this video is only 3 months old?? I am so glad that people in 2024 are still actively working on these old E-class mercedes. this video is exactly what i needed to solve my curiosity and will help me out a lot when i go to do the same thing on my E500.

Of course! My daily driver is a 1998 E320 so the older cars are definitely still out there going strong.

Love the work buddy. When wrapping the headliner did remove the old material?

Yes, you'll need to because the foam will still be attached to the headliner board, so the material won't glue properly until that is scraped off.
