Very informative video! Thanks for the information! I'm planning on getting one very soon! I appreciate the information. Best wishes from Washington DC.👍🏽
appreciate the insight to what to look out for and mods to consider!!!, got me itching to find one at the right price, gotta feeling their catching attn and climbing back up this year... and the CLS seems the be the rarest of the platform excluding wagons
Great video mate always fancied a CLS 55 so this will help a lot if I end up going to look at one, has this car cost you a lot to run and maintain ? I’m used to my cars costing a fortune to run just interesting to see what these are like 👍 keep it up
cheers mate, to be honest it's cheaper to run than most m cars and rs's, brake discs and pads are cheap, id say really reasonable and easy to work on, it does have 16 spark plugs tho but pretty much everything is diy even changed the air struts myself
hi there you are welcome, i have 15mm spacers on the front and 40mm on the rear, the rear are bolted directly to the hubs, the wheels are Mania Mayfair, im running slightly stretched tyres all round 255 30 20, to be honest i havent had any issues with cracked alloys as they are forged but the ride isn't great it is a bit crashy over potholes etc.
@@vpowervpower-sm5sp Thankyou. Yes will defo get them. They look good. Slightly stretched was that for fitment purposes to avoid rubbing or just personal preference? .
the previous owner has set the wheels and spacers up but they are spot on in term of no rubbing on the arches or anything, you could get away with wider rears by removing the spacer but the offset would need to compensate for it
hi Andy the main differences are the 63 is 6.2litres naturally aspirated, has a 7 speed gearbox, other differences are down to the facelift changes really
