excellent video, can you make video about activating NTG5S2 maps ? or how to read or generate activation codes for those navigation maps? or how to activate amg cluster in w222, or how to show 330km max speed on cluster?
Thank you for comment. Navigation maps are activated by entering a code through the radio interface. Therefore, no special knowledge is required. The activation key is generated based on the map version and vehicle VIN number. Unfortunately, I won't be able to make a video about this - RU-vid blocks videos containing piracy materials. Map data is paid software. As for the IC222 dashboard, a software version change will be required to activate the AMG. The program version is selected based on the current version of the HW of dashboard.
Some software updates add additional options that need to be coded. In the video, a W176 car with pedestrian safety sensors physically disabled. After the update, additional parameters appeared, including the parameters of those same sensors. Therefore, after turning off the sensors in another section and coding manually according to the configuration, all errors were gone.

Lately Monaco is losing open port connections a lot. Do you know of any solutions? I am using a legitimate open port. The voltage in the car is normal.

Thank you for comment! I didn’t found isolation in Vediamo same as in Monaco. Some of ECUs have 1 software, some up to 7. You can check how much softwares each ECU contains. It could make it by clicking on every ECU in Xentry scan for example. Or just check software details same as in video.

@@mbdope Понял, спасибо большое! Задам еще один возможно глупый вопрос: сейчас в машине установлен софт номер которого начинается на 292*, 212* и 166* (Command NTG 5.1 HU5s1). SW Finder мне выдает также 3 софта, но номера которых начинаются на 176* и два на 166*. Может ли быть такое, или я что-то не так делаю? Софт искал по HW блока.
По SW Finder-у искать софт на головное устройство - дело не благодарное. Там банально нет и 90% софтов на них. Но если он вам выдал софты 17-18 года по вашему HW, то можно использовать. Есть смысл 5.1 шить в эти года ради полного функционала карплей и андроид авто Во всех остальных случаях только долгий и нудный гуглёж даст нужный результат. Можете написать сюда номер вашего HW, я поищу что найдется. Если у вас три софта, то это аудио20 5.1, если четыре, то команд 5.1 Предпоследний софт в списке это diba - электронная инструкция по вашему авто. Ее оставляете той же версии (если ГУ не установлено с другого авто). В вашем случае, как я понял, это софт с номером 292
@@mbdope Всего ксентри показывает три софта, учитывая руководство 292, при этом определяет она его как hu5s1, получается это ntg 5.1 или audio 20? И если вы говорите что 292 это руководство которое менять не нужно, почему тогда sw finder предлагает три файла для прошивки, и как понять какой не нужно загружать? Самая новая версия думаю не нужна, действительно хочу просто активировать карплей и андроид авто.
5.1 это только лишь версия (поколение) головных устройств. Они могут быть аудио20 или команд. Если у вас навигационные данные находятся на SD флешке - это аудио20. SW Finder это отличное подспорье в поиске софта по железу. Но не является даже близко похожим на XUS, где софт ищется прямо под ваш автомобиль. В SW Finder-е есть некоторая база данных, куда видимо попал набор софтов от 166. DiBa имеет свой номер на каждый кузов (например в случае с легковыми - на седан, универсал, купе и кабриолет он свой), а также на свою языковую группу. Таким образом в SWFinder может быть инструкция на 166 кузов на датском языке🤷🏻♂️ В любом случае, прошивка всеми софтами составит не более 40-50 минут. Попробуйте прошить этим софтом, расскажите. Если что-то будет не устраивать, можно снова прошить другим софтом👍🏻
Thank you for the comment. Software version in the last column is written in format YYXXXX. Where is YY - the year of release, and XXXX - version of release. Usually you can find version numbers in diagnostic software or ECU sticker in format YY/XX.XX Actually all the same in ECUs. Except VGS. In some models it’s not enough to find last version by HW search. But also need to choose appropriate one, depending on engine model and drive type (4x4 or 2x4). My advice for updating the VGS module is to look for a car with the same engine and drive but with a newest software version. Don’t forget to save all codings before. Also good idea is to save whole car Xentry scan to have all original HW and SW versions in one place. And to plug in battery charger when you update VGS module.
Hi! It is difficult to find the right firmware for each analogue dashboard, because there is always only one SW for each HW. Digital dashboards can be updated, or firmware changed.
Sorry, I didn't quite understand about blocking. Anyway you can flash the software as many times as you like. Both newer software versions and older ones. Even if the software change has not been completed fully, you can initiate the firmware flash again.
