Interesting review, Ajay. Once again, very informative. 🤗 It would be a car I would lease as a company car, while the E-Class will be my other car. Maybe the EQB would be my lease car if it is like the awesome GLB. That little SUV is fantastic. I do like it more than the GLA. Soon more to that with the EQB. But the one I am most excited for is the EQS. So much to learn with that, and I want that to be the first electric car I ever drive, because...symbolism, lol. The first gasoline car ever I drove was an S-Class, so it would complete me if the first electric car was...an S-Class. EQS enters the chat. Also, the EQS needs to be the first electric car I sit in. Hopefully the one with the Hyperscreen option equipped. On the EQA: I must say, I am surprised it has the older steering wheel rather than the capacitive one that debuted with the new E-Class...or even the one in the new C-Class. I think this little detail alone gives me a general, but not a bullet-proof idea of where the vehicle's mind is at. It gives me a feeling that it was a little late to the game compared to other Mercedes-Benz cars that have debuted this year and last year. So, my mind is not looking too ahead when looking at this car, as oppose to looking at even the new E-Class facelift. Hmm. Maybe a bit concerning? Maybe not. Anyway, I have not seen the EQA in person, so hard to comment on design too much. From what I see here, I like it. I see echos of the GLA, but also the EQ brand. It is great that Mercedes-Benz is basing their electric cars of gasoline versions. It makes a lot of sense, considering model curve and portfolio they are building for the future. Their product projection has me believe that this is a great step. I did not get too much information on this car, so it is harder for me to talk about in-depth like, say, the GLA. But what I can say is that it is not just an electric GLA, in terms of its character it developed from its engineering. Putting that thought in pencil, though, because that verdict will be reached with inclusion of the driving experience...which I have not done, so I am a bit blind there. I think it has more of a similar character to the GLA plug-in hybrid, but with some difference. I shall see. My information on this is not too much compared to even the new S-Class. I have not even configured this car, let alone know if that is even possible at the moment. Maybe it is. Maybe it is not. The EQS is the one I am waiting for the most. Here's why: Mercedes-Benz has made new innovations to their electric platforms and other platforms with electrification. We saw this with the new S-Class and new C-Class. Absolutely brilliant how they managed to do what they did. Great engineering right there. I wish I was there. I am sure it took years, but I would love to see (fully) how they did it. I only see it in part. The rest is purely my speculation. I guess part of the fun is to keep wondering. I think the EQA shares some of that innovation, as I noticed when learning about this car. I think an EQS premier and more will give me more insight, as the S-Class premier and more gave me a look at a new era. A projection. I am loving it. Hopefully, the EQS does the same. It would further help understand the EQA and other EQ models, or at least their overarching family-ness. Hehe, it is hard for me to find the words to describe things sometimes. English, bruh. 😂 Anyway, the utilization of batteries is also improving. Unfortunately, I have no fully realised verdict on this car. Brilliant and informative review, yes, but you know with me, it does not just stop there. I must also see and understand it myself to add to this review. That will be months away. My head is still on the new C-Class. I am still doing my homework on that, and I may be seeing it in person sooner than I thought. Fingers crossed! On the EQA: I would say, mostly based on your informative review and a bit of my knowledge, that it is great. Of course, it is perhaps not as refined as the likes of the EQC (maybe except for the electrification) or upper Mercedes-Benz models that some frankly are in this price point. Of course, looking at this through the lens of the economy, this is still cheaper than those even if the prices are the same. Okay. That is all. Sadly, not much from my side. Less than usual, but a lot from yours. Hopefully that will be different when you review the more powerful version with even more range. Five-hundred kilometers, I believe. Cheers. Stay safe. Checking out the Audi E-tron GT video just now! I am curious, as I mentioned when the first Autogefühl video of it was uploaded. See? My head was busy with that car too, so the EQA did not get as much attention, lol. Poor guy. 😂😢
Hey Mercedes, take a look at the Ioniq 5 and see what you could have done if you had a bit more ambition. In comparison, the EQA looks bloated, bland and uninspiring. Mercedes should be leading the EV revolution, not desperately trying to catch with the competition up by launching modified ICE designs. Raise your game!
@@ΘάνατοςΧορτοφάγος True, maybe to merc loyalists this is appealing. Based on specs/value/looks, it's not competitive and won't win over many converts.
@@randy2558 im a big fan of mercs but not the latest trash they have been releasing. I ordered a mustang mach e last week. Cheaper than this EQA pile of garbage!
Uh I like it a lot, perfect size for me. Hope AWD version is not going to be superduper strong (AMG, no need for that) and too expensive. ID4 or Enyaq is just too big. I really like there is some ground clearance like any SUV should have (I'm willing to trade a few kilometers for a light off-road capabilities). I just dislike this particular colour, it does not go well with the exterior, should be more bright and exciting, it would be a whole other league.

Appreciate your honest review AJ. However as a Mercedes Fan, I am not excited by the vehicle at all, neither is anyone else judging by the other comments here. Bland, uninviting, especially the back seat, rear vent surrounds look cheap. Not being able to drive it leaves me to judge it on what I see and hear from you AJ and other reviewers and what I am hearing is bland and for the price you can get a lot more from the competition. LED interior is the only nice looking thing on it.....Mercedes, what are you doing? I'll tell you what, please allow me to assist you a bit here, get your team out of their armchairs and .....google 'Hyundai Ionic5' and take special note of the numbers already ordered......ok, time for me to get back in my arm chair now after looking at your all-old EQA....whoops typo.....all-new EQA.......zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
You are welcome, nothing to do with the team at Autogefühl, you are awesome, I love your reviews, keep up the great work. It's Mercedes I am concerned about....
I believe mercedes could put more effort into making this car instead of making ridiculous concept cars they cant even produce. Then they would have more time seeing the reactions of people to the design unlike now.
Nothing bad with the presenter but i don't understand why is he presenting the car as if we do not know about the GLA and as if it is something all new.
I like it, although not in this boring color. I just dont get why its called EQA 250 if it has 190 hp, and hp shouldnt be used anymore anyway. It has 140 kW, so call it EQA140. The EQC400 has 408 hp..so there the 400 at least is understandable, although it should be called EQC300 (300 kW = 408 hp).... Ah well, MB hasnt been great at model naming the last few years
I like the concept and shape of the car. But boy, the details are tacky! The 'turbine' vents, the glossy steering wheel, the gaming like e-dashboard: they are catered more for Asian/Arabian taste, not European.
