Q: Will I pass the emission test with a tuned ECU?
A: Yes you will pass, as all readiness monitors will be in the "READY" state as well as CVN numbers will stay the same when they plug the scanner
Q: does your tuneOBD have to be plugged all the time?
A: no, ones the delete done you remove the plug and this is final
Q: Do I still need to refill AdBlue after this tune is done?
A: No, all SCR system will be unpowered and no real AdBlue liquid will be injected to the exhaust
Q: Do I need to physically remove SCR catalyst
A: No - this is totally not necessary
Q: do I need to drain the AdBlue tank
A: does not matter, you can drain if you like or leave it as is
Q: what if I would like to go back to factory setup
A: possible but no one did this as you need to fix the whole def system PRIOR the revert, but this is too expensive
Q: Does that mean that I will have smog from pipes?
A: sure not, Nox is a clear gas, you even do not see any smell difference
Q: What about possible SCR clogging with long-term use with no AdBlue
A: NOx is a clear gas, clogging is absolutely not possible even in theory
Q: Do I need to remove DPF as well
A: No, the DPF and the SCR are totally independent, after DEF delete done you will still have DPF regen cycles and DPF will continue to work at factory settings.
Q: Is it possible to remove DPF/EGR/Flaps and other problematic stuff?
A: yes, for small extra charge you can do that also
Q: How long a system can work with no AdBlue/DEF
A: actually it can work forever, after 7 years selling now we have many vans driving over 400 thousand miles with no AdBlue
Q: can I use the tuneOBD plug at my other car/van
A: yes, but you just have to pay extra usd450 for files for every next car
Q: What if the dealer will connect their diagnostic equipment. Will they see any difference?
A: No this is hardly possible as all the SW numbers remain the same
