here we reset the adblue system that was preventing the vehicle from starting on this Mercedes CLS Diesel. it is likely we may have to return to fit a nox sensor and battery.
Hello, I own a c class 2015, the adblue finished and it told me engine start not possible. I've got a mechanic around and he did exactly what you did with the diagnostics, but still no luck :(. My adblue is full, can you please advise me as to why you think my car refuses to start? *additional note* I I topped up 4 litres of adblue when there was 20miles left on the adblue clock, but it continued to tick down. Any advice? Kind regards,
yes you need someone to come with a xentry diagnostic machine, ideally a Mercedes specialist or contact rac they have a merc specialist and you need to update software, next time don't wait to let it go to 0 before topping up
A friend of mine have a E class with my otofix D1 OBD tester shows it has a code P208C11 as short circuit for the ADBlue pump but I didn't see any of wear cabling or fuse blown in the boot, I also change the adblue metering pump with the same exact part number, reattach battery, relearn everything I got in the OTOFix, but in my Otofix D1 the option to let me relearn the Adblue pump are not working. Anyone advise will be greatly appreciated.
Good video , really this is a good example of the Mercedes computer says no and disables your car...well done Mercedes (Not) ....it puts me off buying the brand again. They shouldn't be allowed to hold you to ransom with fault codes.
Hi , done exactly same as you with same autel as yours , addblue fault gone , but🤦, car starts , rpm dont move , and accelerator dont respond at all , any advice please ?
Hi there, I have a 2015 Mercedes E220 bluetec. it gave me a code today "P229F62 Nox sensor 2 cylinder bank 1 malfunction, signal comparison is faulty". car drives fine. any ideas where i can start to fix this thanks.
@@cryptomh2014 hi. Yes I did. Took the car to mercedes and they updated the diesel software and replaced both nox sensors for free under warrenty. Otherwise i would of had to pay £1400. Its a fault of the diesel software which causes the nox sensors to fail apparently.
@Peter Chapman I have a 2016 cls, I changed the sensor but still getting the error thinking mercedes would not hange as its old :(. Would a software update fix the error?
@@cryptomh2014 the nox sensors have to be genuine mercedes parts as they need coded to the car. And the only way to successfully code them is to have the correct and most up to date software installed. Im not a mechanic but im told if you fit non genuine they wont last very long.
@Peter Chapman i managed to get a genuine one from Germany, possibly refurbished. I can try the software update I guess or possible a mercedes specialist who may be able to code it.
Hi, how do you get the Autel to enter the teach in process? I have a warning on my CLS that it will not start in 400 miles time. I have refilled the adblue tank. Thank you
Did any of the faults come back after ? As I’m having the same issues now :( but can’t access the adblue settings via my snap on any help would be great
