How to replace (Mercedes ML320, 350, 430, 500 non Bose audio) front door speaker. Step by step guide to replace the unit with similar sized unit. Needs modification for the mounting holes. Fairly easy and straight forward process. Thanks for watching.

Did you remove all the Bose stuff and how difficult was that change? Just picked up a 99 ML430 with the Bose and I mainly just want to add a CarPlay double din radio

No bud, mine didn't have the bose audio. It was the generic mercedes stereo instead.

Hi thanks your video is really helpful. My question is do you know how much W (watt) was the original speakers ? You upgraded RM 75W but what level the original ?

Hi bud, all I know is the original speakers 2 ohm so I picked mine according to that. I have no clue what's the stock speaker wattage sorry.

Will 6.5 speakers fit In the Rear door? I’m thinking about upgrading but I’m not sure if I should get a smaller size for the back

I just replaced my 2002 ML320 speakers this past weekend. 6.5" were a perfect fit up front. 5 1/4" were a perfect fit for the rear doors.

Thanks bud! I used 6.5" Hertz uno speakers and I am very happy with how they sound.

Stock Bose speaker?

No bud, my mine did not have the bose sound system. These were generic base model speakers. I believe bose speakers are wired slightly different due to the amplifier.
