Martin - I just did this in my r107 as well. Around the 2:45-50 mark do you notice the extra wire socket in the black space? It's loose and not plugged into anything.... I also notice that when removing my speaker.... what is it and what the heck does it go to?
If an amp's used these speakers will probably still blow if full power is put to them. Happened to me. It's just their small size. Now I have 80% going to two 6x9 boxes behind the seats.
@@martinhill5770 Very much so, but the main point is that your dash was already cut, that's why the new once popped in without a hassle. I just ordered a set of Focal RCX100 and hopefully I can make them fit.
