I heard the sound demonstrated in the video here of the pump cycling over and over about 20 times recently. I thought what I was hearing was the audio cd changer cycling. But now my doors won’t lock, so I now think what I was hearing was the pump. This video was helpful, thanks!
Big thank you, your advice @6.20 was invaluable my pump was continuously running when driving, thought the door locks were okay tried your simple tip of turning off the seat lumbar to check that first and the pump seems to be back working as normal. Interested to know if the car can be run with the pse pump disconnected?
I love this type of soft close, the electronic ones used on later benz like my 2009 CL550 W216 are not as soft and don’t activate responsively enough, but less complex at least.. Lol
@vsandvs Great videos. It helped me a lot. I replaced my PSE pump with an used one and just repaired the leaks in the trunk release and soft close actuator and confirmed working. But the pump takes about 15 seconds instead of 3-5 seconds to soft close the trunk. Any idea what I should check next?

I am curious, are Autel scanners capable of programing the PSE? my pump on the 06 S500 failed (trunk latch leaked, replaced with a new one) and I replaced the pump used however, the trunk lid silver handle works in reverse. I also want to make sure the 3 second rule is applied to soft close, so, I am looking for recommendations on coding capable scanners other than the STAR Diagnosis System that work for our cars. If you don't mind me asking, what do you use for programming? Thanks!
de-solder the circuit board off the original pump (its easy) and solder it on the good pump make sure there are no leaks!! the MB guy will charge you a few hundy to reprogram the autel to my knowledge does not program options
Hello everyone. I need an help about my 99’s s320 i want to find the central locking wire positive and negative. How can i find it and where is the locking for pse pump or door lock actuator
? My 2004 cl600 trunk, soft close, door, and inside door switch don't work seem like no power... I check under rear seat fuse are not blown.. Anyone know.. Also the touchless start work and the door lock and unlock mechanically also click but the pump a Has no power etc
Hi Victor do you know if there is a way to program a new PSe pump when the old one is completely destroyed and cannot transfer settings from old to new with DAS?
