Thanks for the vid. Just replaced both front shocks on my 2007 311CDI Sprinter. The metal disks at 4:20 need to be removed from the old sleeves & fitted into the new sleeves before fitting the sleeves on the shocks (spikes on disks facing down). The accelerator pedal is easy to move out of the way to access top shock nut on the drivers side. It's mounting bracket is held to the bulkhead with 3 nuts that can be seen at 1:03, far easier than removing the inner wheel lining if you're not replacing the top mounts.
Slacken ball joint nut off halfway at least then Jack up slightly from underneath. Give it a good whack or 7 to the side of the hub and it will come loose I'm sure
If you'll use a petrol based grease instead of silicone for the gliders, the rubber booths will swallow over time, come loose & their protective function is gone; don't ask me how I know that ;-)
