This video is still saving lives. I have exactly the same problem, and I’ll try this method to fix. And luckily, I don’t have to take out the wheels. Thanks
Only video that fixes the problem without taking off the wheel. I didn't think I could put the plug back in so I didn't remove it. just squeezed it and opened it while water was poored in. Clog was flushed and now working correctly. Thank you so much.
Mate fully saved me a headache. Thank you. Sunny England just came out to a puddle in my driver's footwell and gave that a squeeze and had loads of gack come out all over hand, no more water in the sunroof tray ✌️currently drying out my interior. Haha.
There is heavy rainfall in Houston and I saw huge puddle when I got in the car for work and my pillar was all wet and soak, I usually get lot of car wash on daily basis but it never happens, its sad to see but hopefully this will help me out
Thank you so much for this tutorial. Just cleaned out both front sunroof drains on my 2011 E350 using your method. I was getting water puddling on my all weather mat on the front passenger side. When I was cleaning the front passenger bottom side drain, it was blocked with mud type gunk. Poured hot water on the top drain and squeezed the bottom drain plug till the clog was gone. Thanks again!!
I couldnt find the drains on my 2014 E350, any idea where exactly it will be? I have a panoramic roof. I found the ones by the door, but could not for the life of me find where the water is draining from.
Thank you so much, managed to solve my issue just in time before the rain started got bad in 🇬🇧 I cleaned my drain up afterwards running warm water with white vinegar, it gets all the gunk out without pumping. Once it’s clear you’ll see clean water dripping through the bottom.
my 2011 w204 coupe doesn’t have any visible drain holes near the pan roof, others have said there also isn’t any pipe/channel behind the door lining and I also couldn’t find anything in the area behind flap in the door as shown in this video
its only the half of the job!! there are also 2 trains in the rear. you also have to contact spray the conectors in the food room otherwise you will have green ones in two years!!!!
Ok. i kako si vratio taj dio nazad !? Ja sam na jednoj strani skinio i vidi da sam napravio sranje. Sa druge strane sam samo vrh "izmasiro",ostavio . . produvo oba kanala zrakom i isprao vodom i deterdžentom vise puta. Sve super sem tog dijela kojeg nemogu vratit više. Ok mogu ali treba skidati blatobran. Zaključio sam da se jednostavno može produvat zrakom ( po mogućnosti regulirati pritisak) i vodom saprat.
Ok so I have a 2011 e550 and just got this problem and have to pull back interior out and it has to let dry aswell and it’s 2300 from plaza Mercedes does this seem like a good price?🤔
Seems kind of high. I would either diy if you have the basic tools and time for it. Should be some videos on yt how to do it and should be fairly simple. You could also try calling some detail shops to see what they charge to get all the moisture out of the car. Then you can call some of your local shops to see what they charge to clear out all of your drains. Shouldn’t be more than 1k in my honest opinion.
