The Mercedes-Benz model series 447 is the successor model of Viano- and Vito models represent the third generation of vans of German automaker Daimler AG (Series 639), which is advertised by the manufacturer as a MPV. the car version will be marketed this series as already the first generation (Series 638) again, while the model will continue to be marketed in its commercial vehicle variant as Vito as V-Class. For the first time this generation of small van from Mercedes-Benz is also available in the US as Metris.
The vehicles are equipped with two different wheelbases, 3200 mm and 3430 mm, offered. There are three different lengths, 4895 mm, 5140 mm and 5370 mm. In contrast to its predecessor, the V-Class is only offered with four-cylinder engines, this exclusively as diesel.
The launch of the MPV was made on 31 May 2014 the Vito was introduced on October 11, 2014. In addition, the motorhomes Marco Polo offered (on V-Class-based) and Marco Polo Activity (on Vito basis).
