This was not the top speed, I stopped at 200 km/h indicated. This video was recorded with a fully loaded Vito (I would say about 800 - 1200kg heavier than empty). I think that when empty, the van will be a lot quicker.
@@AccelerationTV Top speed should be about 215-220km/h. The 7th gear aint so long either, also at 4200 rpm its at its peak and then the power dies out.
I think it reaches 200 km/h in 7th gear, according to the video where I did a run in manual mode too (stock 136 hp): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Ts9dVvvAZiM.html
@@AccelerationTV Thanks for replying. My uncle has the same car (my 2020), his is still stock though. The warranty on his car should be running out in about 1.5 years. We dont know where to get the car tuned yet. I think, if you would have quite some space, 210km/h on the speedometer should be possible to reach with this weight. Without the weight, so lets say about 2.2 tons, easily 210+. I didnt know these have have a bi-turbo or is a twin turbo?
@@ThenameisOskar To my understanding, the EURO 6 114 CDI, 116 CDI and 119 CDI versions have 2 sequential turbos and the EURO 5 versions have a single VTG turbo. Top speed is definitely higher than reached in the video. This vans weight in the video was about 2.5-2.8 tons, it is fully filled with heavy equipment and even bottoms out on some speed bumps. Definitely recommend the remap, the van drives a lot smoother and the drivetrain doesn't feel stretched at all.
Prices are on their website (look on BMWSpeed), and vary based upon the age of the vehicle. The price at that time was €575 for the remap + €75 for the dyno, including 21% VAT.
