Thank you soo much, so glad I watched your video. I had watched other videos to see how to take out the ignition box. Had it out, was trying to find someone to send it to, to repair it. Gave the sensors a clean and couldn’t believe my luck when I connected it back up and the key turned and the van started. Saved me a lot of time and money. Thanks for taking the time to post this video, really helps people like me.
Thanks. I'll try cleaning the sensors on mine. I've got the same problem and the pissing thing keeps cutting out when idling too. The thing about an intermittent fault like this is you can't demonstrate it to anyone who might be able to fix it and it costs more than the car's worth to replace everything because of all the reprogramming that's got to be done ffs. What's wrong with having a normal key like the old days?
I'm having no luck fixing mine,it just has a little tick about 5 times every couple seconds then nothing.i really don't want to pay,do you think it'll buying a new ignition switch?
@@MrMeltedwellies i found your channel after i bought a veto too, 3 weeks afterwards i replaced the steering lock gizmo for a grand, then a few months later had to replace the ignition slot, with a new key for another 700 just paid 600 for a service and another 500 to sort out the black death from 2 leaking injectors.. not to mention the new prop shaft i had done before xmas but the girl is touching 300, 000 miles and i love her to bits. never get rid of yours, just make great veto videos and sell T-Shirts to pay for her :) love your videos mate, keep on!!!! x
